WiFi, Bluetooth and Local Mode offer different ways to monitor a cook. Bluetooth supports backyard use, while WiFi enables remote monitoring through the internet. The app provides 26 USDA-inspired presets, custom time and temperature programming, and phone alerts. If the connection drops, the base stores up to 30 minutes of data and syncs it when reconnected.
