## Description

For artists, animators and designers who want to draw directly on a large screen, the HUION Kamvas 22 Gen 3 combines a 21.5-inch 2.5K display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Its fully laminated screen keeps the pen tip and cursor closely aligned, while the nano-etched glass adds a textured drawing surface for detailed illustration and design work.

The PW600L pen uses PenTech 4.0, with 16,384 pressure levels and tilt support for varied strokes and shading. Connect the display to a computer or laptop to work in supported creative software.

## Getting the most from it
The 2560 × 1440 display gives your canvas room for complex artwork, animation timelines and design layouts. A 90Hz refresh rate makes strokes appear smoothly on screen as you work, and the fully laminated construction helps keep cursor placement aligned with the pen tip. The nano-etched Canvas Glass 2.0 surface is designed to reduce glare and provide a paper-like texture, giving you tactile control as you sketch, paint or refine line work.

PenTech 4.0 responds to a light 2g initial force, with 16,384 pressure levels for nuanced line weight and brush marks. Its ±60° tilt support helps vary strokes for shading, and three customizable side keys can put frequently used actions within reach. The display’s adjustable stand arrives pre-installed, while the cable slot helps keep cords routed neatly across your workspace.

## Benefits
Colour modes support different creative tasks: use 99% sRGB/Rec.709 for web and video, 90% Adobe RGB for print work, or 94% Display P3 for vivid illustrations. The factory-calibrated ΔE < 1.2 specification supports colour-conscious workflows, and a black-and-white mode is available through the on-screen display settings for sketching, manga and storyboarding.

Ambient lighting adds a customizable element to the work area through the driver software. On Mac, customization is supported on MacBook Air and MacBook Pro, it is temporarily unavailable on Mac mini, Mac Pro and iMac. The pen storage slot helps keep the stylus close at hand between sessions.

Buyer feedback is positive about the tablet’s overall feel, while experiences with functionality are mixed. Some users report issues with 90Hz operation or stylus response, so feedback on these aspects varies.

## When it makes sense
This pen display suits a desk-based creative setup for digital painting, 3D modelling, animation and design. Unlike a screenless pen tablet, it lets you draw on the displayed canvas itself, which can make direct placement and detail work more intuitive. The large working area is useful when a project needs room for broad strokes, interface panels or multiple visual elements, the textured glass and pressure-sensitive pen support the finer work within that canvas.

It is a practical choice for creators who want a full-sized drawing surface, responsive pen input and dedicated colour modes in one display. Connect it to a compatible computer or laptop, set the stand to a comfortable working angle, and use the on-screen canvas for illustration, animation or design tasks.
