## Description

Made from cowhide leather, these Hovico gardening gloves combine a leather palm with an extended half-forearm cuff for garden work involving roses, shrubs and hand tools. The green-and-brown, one-size design is made for adults and suits both men and women.

A snug fit and flexible, breathable construction help keep hands comfortable while you prune, plant or weed. Reinforced leather patches on the fingers add wear resistance where gloves meet stems and tools.

## Everyday use
Reach into rose bushes and handle prickly garden growth with leather protection over the palms and fingers, plus an extended cuff to help shield the wrist and lower forearm from scratches and debris. That added coverage is a practical difference from short-cuff gloves when pruning or clearing plants close to the arms.

The flexible build is intended to preserve control for detailed jobs, such as positioning a stem, planting seedlings or picking up garden tools. Use the gloves for routine gardening and outdoor maintenance, they are reusable and can be wiped clean with warm soapy water. They are not waterproof, so choose them for tasks where water resistance is not required.

## What you’ll notice day to day
The leather palms provide a sturdy contact surface for gripping tools and handling garden materials, while the flexible construction helps with movements that need more precision than simply gripping a shovel. Reinforced patches on the fingers are designed to add durability in areas that see repeated contact during yard work. Breathable materials and a fit-focused design support comfort through planting, pruning and weeding sessions.

How much coverage do you need when pruning? The extended cuff helps protect beyond the hand, making this design useful when branches and foliage brush against the wrist and lower arm. It also gives the gloves a distinct role in a garden kit: choose them for thorny plants and arm coverage, rather than relying on a basic glove that ends at the wrist. The one-size fit keeps the choice straightforward for adult gardeners, while the unisex design works for a range of garden routines.

## Final verdict
For rose pruning, planting and general garden maintenance, Hovico’s cowhide gauntlet gloves bring together palm-and-finger protection, a snug fit and extended forearm coverage. They’re a practical choice for gardeners who want reusable leather gloves with more coverage than a standard short-cuff style, while retaining flexibility for hands-on tasks.
