## Description

Keep a drink warm beside your laptop while working through emails or reading. The House Gem mug warmer offers three temperature settings and a timer for desk-side use. It suits a different routine from an insulated travel mug: rather than carrying a drink between places, you can keep it on the warmer while you work.

## Who it’s for

This warmer is designed for coffee and other drinks you want to enjoy gradually at a desk. Choose from settings of 176℉, 150℉ or 130℉ to suit your preferred drinking temperature, then use the display to see the temperature setting. It’s a practical fit for a home office, study area or workstation where a corded appliance can stay plugged in.

## Where it shines

The 5.2-inch heating plate accommodates most cup sizes and is described as working with cups that don’t have a flat bottom. That flexibility makes it easier to use with different everyday mugs, rather than needing to choose a cup specifically for a flat heating surface. The plate is waterproof, which helps make cleanup straightforward, LEDs also make the heating area visible while the warmer is in use.

For a typical desk routine, set your drink on the plate and select the temperature that suits you. The built-in timer can be set from 2 to 12 hours, while the warmer’s default shut-off is 4 hours. That gives you a way to plan its operating time around a work or study session. It uses 36W and is rated for 110 volts of alternating current.

## Highlights

Temperature choices, a visible display and timed shut-off bring useful controls together in a compact desk accessory. The body is brown ABS, and the warmer measures 14.9L × 14.9W × 3.1H centimetres, making its footprint easy to consider when arranging a desk or side table. Its single heating plate keeps the setup simple: place a suitable mug on the surface, choose a setting and enjoy your drink at your own pace.

The UL certification is also a documented product feature. For everyday use, the waterproof plate and automatic shut-off add practical functions alongside the temperature controls, rather than making the warmer just a heating surface. A solid pick if you want a plug-in mug warmer for keeping coffee or another beverage close at hand while you work at a desk.

## What to clarify

What temperature settings can you choose? The warmer offers 176℉, 150℉ and 130℉, with a display to show the temperature setting.

How does the shut-off timer work? It shuts off after 4 hours by default, and you can customize the timer from 2 to 12 hours.

Does a mug need a flat bottom? The warmer is described as suitable for most cup sizes, including cups without a flat bottom, on its 5.2-inch heating plate.

## When it makes sense

Choose the House Gem when you want a dedicated spot to keep a drink warm during desk work, study or relaxed reading, with temperature choices and a timer built into the routine. Its broad plate, visible display and compact 14.9 cm square footprint make it a useful fit for a stationary cup setup, while the corded 110-volt design suits use near an appropriate power outlet.
