One side is described as firm, with high-density support foam for babies aged 0–9 months, the other uses highly elastic memory foam for toddlers aged 9 months and up. This gives families a choice of surface as a child grows. The gel memory foam is designed to draw heat away from the body, while the cover’s waterproof inner layer helps keep liquid from reaching the foam. To choose the right fit, measure the playard or crib and compare its interior dimensions with the mattress size.

Everyday use

Need a sleep-and-play surface that can travel between rooms or pack for an outing? The mattress folds into a trifold shape and comes with a storage bag, making it practical to carry for travel, camping or picnics, then store when it is not in use. At home, it can be set up in a compatible playard to create a cushioned place for rest or supervised play.

The two-sided construction lets caregivers select the firm or soft surface described for the child’s age range, rather than relying on one feel throughout use. For a family deciding between a fixed mattress and a portable option, the foldable format is useful when moving or storing the mattress is part of the routine. Its listed dimensions are intended to fit most Pack ’n Plays, but playard interiors can vary, so measuring before purchase helps match the mattress to the space.

Is it worth it?

The Home4me HE-013 brings together features that serve different needs in one portable format: a trifold design for carrying and storage, two distinct foam surfaces, and a removable cover with a waterproof inner layer. It is a practical choice for families looking for a playard mattress that can move between home and outings, with the option to select the firm or soft side described for the child’s age.
