Hipubby Dog Harness and Leash Set, Size S

A harness that slips or takes too long to fasten can make the start of a walk more fiddly than it needs to be. This Hipubby set uses a step-in design with quick-snap buckles, a hook-and-loop fastening and a matching leash, giving you a straightforward option for everyday outings with a small pet.

The pink mesh harness has reflective detailing intended to help your pet stand out in low light. Fit still matters more than the colour or convenience: measure your pet’s chest and neck, then use the size chart before choosing.

Fit and sizing

The product information asks you to measure both chest and neck circumference and compare those measurements with its size chart. It also recommends choosing the larger size if your pet falls between sizes. The listing identifies this version as size S, but the measurements for that size aren’t included in the information provided here, so don’t assume the label alone will tell you whether it fits.

For example, before an evening walk, you could step your pet into the vest, fasten it and check that it sits securely without relying on the leash to pull the harness into place. Would a reflective design make a difference on your usual route? It may be useful when visibility is a concern, but it doesn’t replace a well-fitted harness or attentive handling.

Pros

The step-in format and quick-snap buckles are intended to make putting the harness on and taking it off simpler. A safety-lock buckle and two D-rings are listed as additional attachment details. The soft, breathable mesh may suit routine walks when you want a vest-style harness rather than a basic collar-and-leash setup.

Reflective strips cover the harness, and the matching leash also has reflective bands. The leash is 5.1 ft long and has an anti-tangling clip and a palm-friendly handle. That gives you a coordinated set rather than requiring a separate leash purchase. The product is described for dogs and cats across several size ranges, although fit still depends on your individual pet’s measurements.

One limitation is that the “no-pull” wording doesn’t explain a specific mechanism for managing pulling. If your pet needs a harness chosen for a particular training approach, this description doesn’t provide enough detail to judge that suitability. It makes sense if you want an easy-to-fasten, reflective set for ordinary walks and can confirm the fit first. Better to avoid it if you need measured sizing information before ordering or a clearly described pulling-control design.

What I’d decide

This set is worth considering for someone who wants a matching harness and leash with reflective details, especially for short everyday outings in dimmer conditions. The step-in layout may also be appealing if getting a harness over a pet’s head is awkward. According to the manufacturer, the design is intended to be breathable and comfortable, the listing doesn’t provide further construction or fit measurements to assess that claim independently.

The deciding step is the size chart, not the S label: take chest and neck measurements and compare both before choosing. If those measurements aren’t available or the fit is uncertain, a product with clearly stated size dimensions would be the more dependable route. If the size checks out and you mainly need a simple reflective walking set, the included leash and easy-on format are the practical reasons to choose this one.
