## Description

Small-bite kibble gives puppies a manageable format for everyday meals. Hill's Science Diet Puppy Small Bites pairs chicken with brown rice and nutrients selected to support development. Is a smaller piece size a better fit for your puppy’s mealtime? This recipe also includes DHA from fish oil for healthy brain and eye development.

## Size & fit

The small-bite format is designed for puppies, and the product is listed for small dogs. It offers a practical alternative to standard-size dry puppy kibble when smaller pieces suit your dog’s meals. Owners also describe the kibble as easy for small puppies to chew, while feedback on taste is positive. Individual preferences vary, but the bite size gives you a clear feature to consider when choosing a dry food for a young dog.

## Why it makes sense

This chicken and brown rice recipe brings several specific nutritional features together in one everyday dry food. DHA from fish oil supports healthy brain and eye development, while high-quality protein helps build lean muscle. Balanced minerals support strong bones and teeth, important considerations as puppies grow. Prebiotic fibres support the gut microbiome and digestive system, and vitamin E with omega-6s helps support healthy skin and coat.

The small pieces can make the food easier for little mouths to manage, and the dry format fits a regular feeding routine. Buyers commonly mention that their puppies enjoy the taste and appreciate the smaller kibble. Reports about digestive effects are mixed, so observe your puppy’s response as you introduce any food and follow the package feeding guide, adjusting the amount to maintain your dog’s physical condition.
