Unlike simply reducing portions of a standard adult food, this formula is made specifically for weight management while also supporting muscle maintenance. The manufacturer reports that over 70% of adult dogs lost weight within 10 weeks when fed this food. That result describes the reported outcome, not a guaranteed result for every dog, portioning and regular attention to your dog’s condition remain part of a weight plan.

What it works with

This recipe is intended for adult dogs. Use the feeding guide on the bag to help set an appropriate serving, then monitor your dog’s body condition and adjust the amount as needed. That makes it easier to use as a regular meal while keeping feeding decisions connected to your dog’s changing needs.

For a day-to-day routine, measure each serving according to the package directions rather than estimating by eye. Store the dry food in a cool, dry place, below 100°F (38°C), to help maintain suitable storage conditions after opening.

Best use cases

Perfect Weight is designed for adult dogs whose feeding routine calls for weight-management support. Its low-calorie approach addresses that goal, while protein supports lean muscle maintenance—two useful considerations when choosing a dedicated weight-management food rather than relying on portion changes alone. The chicken recipe offers a clear flavour option for daily meals.

Customer feedback commonly highlights dogs’ enjoyment of the taste and owners’ impressions of support with weight control. Some also describe the food as gentle on their dogs’ stomachs. Opinions on value vary, so the most useful decision points are whether a weight-management formula suits your dog and whether the 1.81 kg bag size works for your feeding routine.
