HiheXien Small Ankle Brace with Adjustable Straps and Removable Side Splints

For a run, court session or everyday movement after a mild ankle sprain, the HiheXien ankle brace combines adjustable compression with support on both sides of the ankle. Its Small fit, breathable fabric and slim profile are designed to make support practical inside casual or athletic shoes.

Four-way hook-and-loop adjustment lets you tighten the brace from different angles, while a figure-eight strap system helps secure the ankle for movement. The two removable side splints add support around the joint, giving you a flexible alternative to taping alone.

What you’ll notice day to day

The brace wraps around the ankle with a snug fit, and its thin material extends from the heel to the sole. A smooth inner lining and laser-cut ventilation holes support airflow during wear, while reduced-pressure strap edges are designed to sit comfortably against the foot. The low-profile shape slides into shoes, loosening the laces slightly can make room for the brace.

The figure-eight straps work in a similar way to athletic tape, with adjustable hook-and-loop closures that let you tailor the fit. Two soft side splints contour to the foot and support the ankle without pressing directly on the ankle bones. They can also be removed, so the support setup can be adapted to your preference.

Key takeaways

This adult ankle brace is intended for ankle sprains and injury recovery. It is sized Small and designed for men and women. The combination of adjustable straps, removable side splints and breathable fabric suits people looking for ankle support that can be worn with footwear for activities such as running, basketball, soccer, volleyball, tennis and hiking. Its slim construction also makes it practical for routine movement when a bulkier brace would be less convenient inside a shoe.

For example, before a walk or sports session, position the brace around the ankle, secure the straps to a comfortable fit, and loosen shoe laces as needed to accommodate it. Compared with relying on tape alone, this brace brings the side supports and adjustable figure-eight wrap together in one wearable design.

Usage tips

Fasten the hook-and-loop straps evenly around the ankle and adjust them to achieve a secure, comfortable fit. The side splints are removable, so set up the brace with them in place when you want their added support, or take them out to change the feel. Pairing the brace with shoes is straightforward: loosen the laces slightly before putting the shoe on, then readjust them for comfort.
