Hibbent 100-12.BDSD2507-2500-C-1P Bathroom Sink Drain Strainer, Chrome

The pop-up design lets you switch between holding water and draining the basin with a gentle press, while the removable basket catches hair and small debris. This Hibbent bathroom sink drain strainer combines those everyday functions in one chrome-finish stopper, with a brass bullet core and a two-piece stainless steel filter basket.

Keep the basket in place to filter debris, or remove it to open up the larger drain holes. That gives you a practical choice between catching small items and letting water flow through more freely.

Compatibility & requirements

Made for bathroom sinks, this stopper fits drain holes measuring 1.1" to 2.36". Measure the basin drain opening before choosing it, and use the stated range to check fit. It is not intended for bathtub drains.

Installation is designed as a direct replacement for an existing sink stopper, without specialized tools or professional plumbing assistance. Once installed, press the pop-up mechanism to switch between holding water for washing or soaking and opening the drain. For faster drainage, remove the basket to expose the two larger openings, leave it in place when you want to catch hair, jewellery and other small debris.

Customer feedback highlights easy installation and straightforward basket cleaning, while opinions on drainage speed are mixed, with some reporting slower flow. The removable basket is particularly useful for clearing collected debris without having to take apart the sink assembly.

Who it’s for

It suits you if you want one bathroom sink stopper that can hold water and also filter debris during everyday use. The basket can help catch hair before it reaches the drain, and its removable design makes cleaning more direct. It can also be useful for retrieving small items such as earrings or necklaces that might otherwise slip into the drain.

Compared with a basic stopper that only opens or closes the drain, this design adds a removable filter basket and a choice of drainage setup. In a typical bathroom routine, keep the basket fitted while washing at the sink, then remove it when you want the larger openings available for draining. The pop-up mechanism makes the change simple, while the chrome finish gives the stopper a coordinated look in the basin.
