HEVITDA HT-BH-A001 ID Badge Holder with Retractable Reel and Breakaway Lanyard

For work or study that involves showing an ID, this HEVITDA badge holder keeps a card ready to scan and easy to carry throughout the day.

The set pairs a vertical card holder with a retractable reel and a detachable, breakaway lanyard. Its Tropical Abstract Leaves 1 design adds a colourful detail to an everyday work or school essential.

Need to scan in and out without taking the badge off? Extend the reel’s nylon cord, then let the card return to your side when you’re done.

Usage tips

Place up to two cards in the holder, then press the back and slide it open to insert or remove them. The clear window leaves the ID visible for scanning, while the retractable cord extends up to 28 inches to bring the badge to a reader. The lanyard’s quick-release buckle lets you detach the holder when you need to carry or present it separately.

For a daily routine, wear the lanyard around your neck and keep an access card ready at work, school or a volunteer setting. The attached key ring also provides a place for keys, bringing two commonly used items together. The breakaway lanyard separates when pulled, and the reel and card holder can be detached from the lanyard as needed.

Why it’s worth it

Instead of choosing a simple clip or a lanyard without a reel, this set brings together a visible card holder, retractable access and a neck-worn option. That combination suits routines where an ID needs to be scanned repeatedly, while the key ring helps keep keys close at hand. The printed tropical-leaf pattern gives the holder a more distinctive look than a plain badge clip.

The holder opens by pressing the back and sliding it up. Buyer feedback often highlights the appearance, durability and everyday function, while some people report difficulty opening the card holder. Its mix of carrying and access features is especially useful when a badge needs to stay accessible through a busy shift or school day.

What to clarify

How many cards can the holder carry? It is described as fitting up to two cards. The clear window keeps the ID visible for scanning.

How far does the retractable cord extend? The nylon cord extends up to 28 inches, allowing you to bring the badge to a reader while it remains attached to the reel.

Can the holder be separated from the lanyard? Yes. The lanyard has a quick-release buckle, and the holder and reel can be detached when you want to carry or present them separately.

When it makes sense

It’s a good fit if you want one coordinated setup for an ID, occasional access scans and keys, with the choice of wearing the badge on a breakaway lanyard or using its retractable reel. For employees, students, teachers, healthcare staff and volunteers, the clear vertical holder and tropical-leaf design make daily identification practical while adding a personal touch.
