Hazo Haus Dark Green Hallway Runner Rug, Washable 2'6" x 8' Non-Slip

For busy indoor routes that need both floor coverage and an easy-care finish, the Hazo Haus runner suits hallways, entrances and kitchen floors. Its 2'6" x 8' format brings a long, defined surface to narrow or high-traffic areas.

A rubber backing helps the rug grip the floor, while the low-pile surface is designed for everyday household messes, including pet hair and dander.

The dark green ground, patterned with whimsical insects and vintage-inspired borders, adds a woodland, boho accent to the room as well as a practical layer underfoot.

Who it’s for

This runner is a practical fit for households looking to add a washable rug to an indoor hallway, entrance, kitchen or bathroom. Its long shape works along a passage or beside kitchen work areas, where a small entry mat would cover only the threshold. The low pile is suited to everyday foot traffic and makes routine vacuuming straightforward, the rubber backing helps keep the rug in place on the floor.

The design is also a good match for eclectic, cottage-inspired or woodland interiors. Gold, teal and rust-toned moths, beetles and dragonflies stand out against the dark green background, with scalloped borders and a vintage floral edge giving the pattern a decorative, folk-art character. It adds visual interest without relying on a plain solid-colour finish.

Why it’s worth it

The main advantage is the combination of practical coverage and manageable care. Vacuum regularly with a soft brush for everyday upkeep, or machine wash in cold water for a deeper clean. That makes it useful in places where shoes, cooking activity or pets can bring more day-to-day mess than a decorative rug in a quieter room. The product is described as resisting stains, pet hair and dander, and its low pile is intended to be gentle on paws while helping reduce floor scratches.

For a hallway, the 8 ft length can create a more continuous look than placing a small mat at the door alone. In a kitchen, it gives the work area a defined runner-style accent, while the nature-inspired motif ties in with interiors that use earthy colours and botanical details. If the rug arrives folded, roll it out and give the fibres time to settle, gentle vacuuming with a soft brush and cold-water machine washing help maintain its appearance.

Should you buy it?

It’s especially suited to a hallway, entrance or kitchen where a useful floor covering can also bring woodland-inspired colour and detail to the space.
