## Description

The large LCD makes measurements easy to read at a glance, while one-touch inch/mm conversion helps you work in the units your project calls for.

With a 0-6"/150mm range and four measurement modes, the HARDELL LF04-6inch handles inside and outside dimensions, depth and step measurements with one tool.

For jobs that involve switching between metric and imperial, conversion is built in. For repeat measurements, the zero button lets you reset the reading at any point on the scale.

## Technical overview

Stainless steel construction gives this digital caliper a sturdy feel, while the knurled thumb roller supports smooth adjustment and the locking screw helps hold the jaws in position. Its stated accuracy is ±0.03mm/0.001", with a resolution of 0.01mm/0.0005". The four modes cover outside diameter, inside diameter, depth and step measurements, so you can check different dimensions without changing tools.

The LCD is designed for clear reading, including in strong sunlight. Switch between inches and millimetres with one button, or set the display to zero at a chosen point to compare measurements from a consistent starting position. Auto-off activates after five minutes without use, and two LR44 batteries are included.

## How to use it

Position the jaws around an external dimension, use the inner jaws for an opening, or extend the probe to measure depth or a step. Read the result on the digital display, then switch units or reset the zero point as needed. This makes the caliper useful for checking a printed part, measuring a piece of wood before a cut, sizing jewellery components, or taking dimensions during DIY and auto-repair work.

## Everyday use

The digital readout and direct unit conversion make routine measuring straightforward when a project includes dimensions in different formats. A locking screw and thumb roller support controlled positioning, while the included case provides a place to store the tool between jobs.

Buyers commonly praise the caliper’s readability, smooth movement and construction, and some appreciate having a case for storage. Feedback on battery life is mixed, so keeping spare LR44 batteries with workshop supplies can be a practical choice for regular use.

## Should you buy it?

Choose this caliper when you want one digital measuring tool for both internal and external dimensions, depth and step checks, with inch/mm conversion and a clear LCD. Its 0-6"/150mm range suits hands-on tasks from woodworking and 3D printing to jewellery, DIY and auto repair, while the steel body and four measurement modes make it useful across varied projects.
