## What it works with
The clip is designed for books, e-readers and shelves, giving you options for reading in bed, at a desk or in another indoor setting. Its flexible neck bends and rotates to direct the light over the page, while the padded clip helps hold the lamp in place without marking the surface. For a single reading spot, you can aim the inner row at the page, when you want wider illumination, switch on both rows. Buyers particularly appreciate being able to tailor the brightness and light tone, and some also find the compact light useful for tasks beyond reading. Feedback on the clip is mixed, so how it feels in use can vary with the surface and placement.

## Practical tips
Use a short press on the brightness button to move through the five fixed levels, or hold it to adjust brightness continuously. The colour-temperature button works in the same way: a short press selects one of the five settings, while a long press lets you fine-tune the tone. The memory function restores your last-used settings when the light is turned on again, so you can return to a familiar setup without adjusting everything from scratch.

The four-level power indicator gives a quick view of the remaining charge. Recharge with the included USB-C cable as needed, at low brightness, the stated runtime is up to 110 hours. For reading, position the gooseneck so the beam falls across the page rather than directly towards your eyes, then choose one or both LED rows according to how much of the surrounding area you want lit.

## When it makes sense
This clip-on light suits readers who want more control than a fixed-brightness lamp offers, especially when reading at different times or in shared spaces. Five colour settings and adjustable brightness make it straightforward to shift from a softer, warmer tone to a brighter, cooler one, while the two-row design gives you a choice of a narrower reading focus or broader light. It suits you if you want a rechargeable light that can be clipped onto a book or e-reader and repositioned as you read, with the flexibility to use it for other nearby indoor tasks as well.
