GRICH dual shower head, chrome
Product description
Key points
The 8.7-inch rainfall panel is the standout feature: it gives the fixed shower head a broad coverage area, while the separate handheld unit adds flexibility for rinsing. The chrome-plated ABS heads are paired with a 60-inch reinforced stainless steel hose.
The handheld head has nine spray settings. A selector on the fixed head lets you run the rainfall head, the handheld head or both together, the combination is described as offering up to 19 modes. That gives you more ways to adjust a shower than a basic single-head setup, though it also means more parts to position and switch between.
The product lists a 2.5 GPM flow rate and claims a pressure-boosting design for low-pressure situations. Keep in mind that this is a stated design benefit, not a guarantee that it will overcome every home’s plumbing or water-pressure limitations.
How to use it
Choose the rainfall head for a hands-free shower, or lift the handheld unit from its holder when you want to direct the spray. The selector switches between either head on its own and both running at once. After rinsing, the handheld unit slides back into the fixed head, so there is no separate stand to install.
A practical routine might be to use the fixed panel for most of the shower, then switch to the handheld spray to rinse shampoo from your hair or wash down the shower area. The nine handheld settings offer different spray choices, although the product details do not describe what each setting feels like or how they differ.
Practical tips
The listing says installation uses a universal G1/2 threaded connector and can be completed without tools. It is intended for a standard shower hose and American Standard shower arm. Before choosing it, compare the stated connection with the fitting already in your shower, the listing does not provide a more detailed compatibility guide.
The hose is described as reinforced stainless steel, rust-resistant and designed not to tangle. Its 60-inch length gives you room to move the handheld head around the shower, but the product information does not specify hose-care instructions or include details about replacement parts.
The heads are made from chrome-plated ABS rather than metal. That keeps the material choice clear for shoppers comparing finishes, but anyone specifically seeking an all-metal shower head may prefer to look at a different construction. The stated 2.5 GPM flow rate is also worth weighing if water use is a priority.
Buying questions
Can the rainfall and handheld heads run at the same time? Yes. The selector is described as allowing the rainfall head, handheld head or both to run.
How many spray settings does the handheld head have? It has nine settings. The combined setup is described as offering up to 19 modes, but the listing does not break down every combination.
Does installation require a plumber? The product is described as a tool-free installation using a G1/2 connector. Fit still depends on the existing shower connection matching the stated standard.
For your situation
It's a good choice if you want a broad fixed spray plus a handheld option for more directed rinsing, without adding a separate holder. The adjustable head choices may also suit a household where people prefer different spray setups.
It may not be the best choice if you want a simple single shower head, need an all-metal build, or require a verified fix for very low water pressure. The product makes a pressure-related claim, but provides no independent performance details. If the combination of rainfall coverage, handheld control and the listed connection fits your shower, its main benefit is having those choices in one setup, otherwise, a simpler head may be easier to live with.
