Gorilla 3027502 Mini Hot Glue Sticks, Clear, 4 in, 75 Count

Each mini stick measures 4 in x 0.27 in and uses a clear EVA adhesive. The 75-count pack is made for compatible mini glue guns, so you can keep refills on hand for crafts, DIY projects and everyday repairs. Its clear finish helps keep the adhesive less noticeable on many projects.

How to use it

Use these sticks with a mini glue gun designed for 0.27 in diameter sticks, following the gun’s instructions. The adhesive works with both high- and low-temperature guns. For stronger bonds on materials such as wood, plastic, metal and glass, use a high-temperature gun, for delicate materials such as floral pieces, fabric, foam and jewellery, use a low-temperature gun. The choice of gun temperature lets you match the application to the material and project.

The working time is 45 seconds, with the actual time depending on how much glue is applied and the gun temperature. That gives you a window to position pieces during assembly. For instance, when attaching fabric or decorative elements to a craft project, apply the glue with the appropriate gun and place the pieces while the adhesive is workable. Test the product before its intended use. The glue is weather-resistant and water-resistant, but it is not recommended for continual water exposure.

Benefits

A clear adhesive is useful when you want the bond to blend into a finished craft or repair. The formula is described as impact-tough and versatile, and is designed to handle seasonal temperature swings. It bonds a range of materials, including wood, plastic, floral materials, fabric, leather, foam, metal and glass, giving one refill pack a variety of potential uses around a craft table or for small household projects.

Buyers often highlight how well the sticks work in glue guns and how effectively they hold materials together. Some also appreciate the clear finish and report that it suits their craft and fabric projects. These are customer impressions, while the product’s practical draw is its mini format, broad material use and compatibility with both high- and low-temperature guns.

Compared with choosing a liquid adhesive for each different task, hot glue offers a gun-applied format for projects where you want to place adhesive directly at the join. It’s a good fit if your projects include both delicate craft materials and sturdier surfaces, since you can select the glue gun temperature to suit the task.
