## Description

Some pest-control tasks call for a direct, hand-guided sweep, others are easier with an automatic mode. The GooQand WD-942 electric bug zapper racket offers both approaches in one handheld design. Its three-layer safety mesh surrounds a 4000V grid, with a purple light that comes on in automatic mode.

## What stands out
Choose manual operation to guide the racket towards an insect: press and hold the grey button while moving it, then release the button to stop. For automatic operation, select ON2, the racket runs without holding the button, and six purple lights illuminate. This choice of modes makes it practical to respond to a fly or mosquito in the moment, or to use the automatic setting when you prefer not to keep pressing a button.

The three-layer mesh helps prevent direct contact with the high-voltage grid, while circuit protection is designed to address overcharging, overdischarging and short circuits. The product is described as USB rechargeable, giving you a way to recharge it when needed. At 23.5 x 5 x 44.2 cm, it has a racket-style shape for reaching insects around indoor spaces or taking along for outdoor use. Compared with a basic manual swatter, the WD-942 adds an automatic mode and an electrified grid, the manual setting still gives you direct control over each sweep.

## Quick overview
- Type: Electric bug zapper racket
- Model: WD-942
- Voltage: 4000V
- Modes: Manual and automatic
- Grid: Three-layer safety mesh
- Colour: White
- Dimensions: 23.5 x 5 x 44.2 cm
- Charging: USB

For a practical example, keep the racket accessible in a kitchen or bedroom and use manual mode when an insect is in view. When using automatic mode, the purple lights illuminate alongside the grid. Its portable racket format also suits taking it along for camping or other outdoor use. After use, regularly clear away insect remains. If they build up and dry out, they can create a fire hazard.

Buyers’ impressions are mixed on the rechargeable feature, the two modes and ease of operation. Some appreciate the appearance and power, while others raise concerns about durability. These are individual experiences rather than a measure of what every unit will do, but they offer useful context alongside the product’s documented functions.

## Who it’s for
The WD-942 suits shoppers looking for an electric racket that can be operated by hand or switched to an automatic mode, with indoor and outdoor use in mind. It suits you if you want the control of aiming a swatter yourself as well as the option of running the racket without holding its button. The mesh design, illuminated automatic setting and USB charging make those features easy to identify when choosing a fly zapper for everyday household use or camping.

## Final verdict
Choose the GooQand WD-942 when you want more than a manual swatter: it combines a 4000V grid and three-layer safety mesh with two operating modes in a portable racket. That mix makes it a practical fit for handling insects around the home and bringing along for outdoor use.
