GINMLYDA Kids Sequin Journal, A5, 160 Lined Pages, Reversible Pink Heart

The reversible sequin heart gives this kids’ journal a playful cover that children can change with a swipe. Its colours shift from silver to rose pink, and the sequins can be arranged into patterns, letters and numbers.

Inside, 160 lined pages provide space for writing, drawing, sketching and notes. Smooth, thick paper supports a range of everyday creative activities.

A sturdy hardcover and sewn binding help the journal open flat, while its portable size makes it easy to bring along in a child’s backpack.

Key features

This journal combines a hands-on cover with a practical lined notebook. Flipping the heart sequins changes their appearance from silver to rose pink, so the cover can become part of the creative activity before a child even opens the book. The sequins can also be moved into different patterns, letters or numbers, adding a tactile way to play and personalize the journal.

The 160 lined pages give children room to record thoughts, memories and experiences, or use the book for drawing, sketching and taking notes. Smooth, thick paper makes it comfortable to move between writing and creative projects. Unlike a plain notebook, this one pairs everyday page space with an interactive sequin cover, the journal’s lined pages still make it useful for regular writing.

Fit and sizing

The journal measures 5.5 x 8.3 inches and is described as A5. Its compact format is suited to carrying in a child’s backpack, making it handy for writing or drawing while travelling and during other activities away from a desk. The lined pages offer a familiar starting point for journaling, while also leaving room for sketches and personal touches.

A sturdy hardcover and sewn binding give the notebook structure, and it can open flat across both pages. That makes the full spread accessible for writing, drawing or colouring, whether a child prefers to work on one page at a time or use the open book as a larger space.

How to use it

Children can swipe across the sequins to change the heart from silver to rose pink, then make patterns, letters or numbers on the cover. Open the journal to write about the day, keep memories, make sketches or jot down notes. The lined format supports written entries, while the smooth pages also suit drawing and colouring.

For a trip or an outing, place the journal in a backpack so it is ready for an idea, observation or quiet creative activity. At home, it can serve as a personal diary or a dedicated place for drawing and notes. Opening it flat gives children access to both pages as they work.

When it makes sense

This journal suits children who enjoy both writing and hands-on creative details. It offers the everyday usefulness of a lined notebook alongside a cover they can actively change, making it a distinctive alternative to a plain journal. The compact size also supports use on the go, and the combination of journaling, drawing and note-taking gives children different ways to use the pages as their interests change.

It’s a good fit if you’re choosing a birthday or special-occasion gift for a child who likes colourful, interactive stationery and wants a space for their own writing or artwork. The reversible heart, 160 lined pages and portable format bring together a playful cover and practical room for everyday creativity.
