## Description

The BD/DVD combo brings Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire together in two disc formats. Choose Blu-ray or DVD to suit the player you plan to use. It’s a practical format choice for movie night at home or adding the film to a physical collection. The story reunites the Spengler family with the original Ghostbusters in New York City.

## Worth noting

An ancient artefact unleashes an army of ghosts and a deadly chill over the city, setting up a new adventure for Ghostbusters old and new. The Spenglers return to the New York City firehouse, where the original team has developed a secret research lab, and the two generations join forces to protect their home. The returning cast includes Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace and Paul Rudd, alongside original Ghostbusters performers Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson.

The film runs for 1 hour and 56 minutes, making it a feature-length pick for an evening’s viewing. Subtitle options include English, French, Korean, Mandarin Chinese, Spanish and Thai. For a household choosing between a Blu-ray setup and a DVD player, the combo offers both disc formats in one edition, play the disc that matches the player you’re using. The bilingual edition is well suited to viewers looking for a physical copy of this franchise instalment.

## Usage tips

Settle in for a full-length watch when you want a supernatural adventure that brings the newer Spengler story together with familiar members of the original team. The returning cast and shared mission give longtime fans a clear link to earlier Ghostbusters films, while the ancient-artifact plot provides a fresh threat for this instalment. It also works as a straightforward pick for a Ghostbusters movie night, whether the draw is the family’s return to the firehouse or seeing the two generations work together.

Buyers often describe the film as entertaining and enjoyable, and some appreciate it as a continuation of the franchise and a title they would watch again. Views on the story are mixed, so its strongest appeal is likely to be for viewers interested in the characters, the returning cast and another chapter in the Ghostbusters world. These impressions can help set expectations without taking away from the specific appeal of this release: the Spenglers and original team facing the same supernatural danger.

## Who it’s for

This edition suits Ghostbusters fans who want Frozen Empire on disc, especially viewers interested in the connection between the Spengler family and the original team. It’s also a useful choice for anyone deciding between Blu-ray and DVD playback, or looking for a bilingual-labelled edition with a range of subtitle options. If you’re choosing a film for a shared viewing, the ensemble cast and returning characters offer familiar points of interest, while the new threat gives the story its own central adventure.

## Buying verdict

Choose this BD/DVD combo for a physical copy of Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire with both Blu-ray and DVD formats. Its main draw is the reunion of the Spengler family and original Ghostbusters, supported by a supernatural New York storyline and a feature-length runtime. For franchise followers and viewers building a disc collection, it brings a new team-up story and familiar faces together in one release.
