Gewudraw laundry sorter cart, 360L

This cart is aimed at households that want to separate laundry as it accumulates, rather than sort a mixed pile on laundry day. It could also suit a hotel or shared space where towels and clothes need their own sections.

Three removable bags make it easier to keep colours or fabric types apart. The rolling frame means the sorter can travel with the laundry instead of staying parked beside the washer.

If you prioritise sorting and storage in one place, this offers more structure than a basic single hamper. If you prefer a compact basket that is easy to tuck away, its larger frame may be a drawback.

Getting the most from it

Use each bag for a category you already separate, such as colours, towels and everyday clothes. That way, sorting happens while items are being put away, and you can take out a full bag using its buckle attachments when it is time to move laundry. The listing gives the cart a total capacity of 360L, with each bag holding 31 gallons and up to 30 lbs.

The bags have a waterproof lining and are made from 600D Oxford fabric. The listing says the lining can be wiped with a damp cloth, which is useful for routine clean-up, though it does not describe the bags as machine-washable. For a practical example, you could keep towels in one section and separate light and dark clothes in the others, then roll the loaded cart towards the laundry room.

Four multidirectional wheels make the cart movable, and two lock. Foam handles on both sides give you a place to grip while steering. The metal frame has six horizontal bars, including supports beneath the compartments to help limit sagging, its stated maximum static load is 90 lbs. Assembly is required, with numbered parts and instructions included.

Why it’s worth it

The useful distinction here is between collecting laundry and organising it. A standard hamper handles the first job, three separate bags are more convenient if you want clothes divided before washing. By design, the waterproof lining and wipe-clean care suit everyday laundry-room use, while the rolling frame can help when the cart needs to move between a bedroom, bathroom and laundry area.

The main trade-off is space. The frame measures 35.82 inches long, 18.97 inches wide and 36.8 inches high, so it needs a clear spot rather than a narrow corner. The bags can be removed, but the listing does not say that the frame folds down for storage. It makes sense if you have room to keep the sorter set up and will use the separate compartments regularly. It won’t suit you if you need a small hamper that can be hidden away between loads.

• Four wheels, including two with locks, make it easier to move and park.
• The coated metal frame has a stated maximum static load of 90 lbs.
• The frame’s footprint is a real consideration in smaller rooms.

When to choose it

Choose this Gewudraw sorter if laundry tends to gather across several rooms and you want a single rolling place to collect and divide it. The removable bags and locking wheels are practical details for moving a load without carrying a full hamper by hand. For a small household with little laundry or limited floor space, a basic basket may be the more sensible approach, this cart earns its place when its three sections will be used and its larger footprint can stay accessible.
