Generic 2606MJQM5284-XP2026525 Small Dog Harness, Reflective, Padded, Verdant Green

Small size, Verdant Green colour and a padded build make this harness easy to identify for everyday walks. Its H-shaped design distributes leash pressure across the chest and back rather than focusing it on the throat. Reflective webbing and a front leash clip add practical details for regular outings.

Why it’s worth it

A harness offers a different approach from attaching a leash to a collar: this H-shaped design spreads pulling force over the chest and back, helping avoid direct pressure on the throat. Multiple adjustment points let you tailor the fit, while the buckle closure makes it straightforward to put on and take off. The padded construction adds a comfortable contact layer for walks and training sessions.

The front clip provides a leash attachment point for walking, and the back handle gives you a way to hold your dog closer when you need more control in a confined space or while moving past an obstacle. Reflective webbing helps make the harness more noticeable when light catches it, a useful feature for walks in dim conditions.

The essentials

The outer material is 300D water-repellent nylon, paired with 3D breathable sandwich mesh on the inside. This combination brings water repellency for light drizzle and airflow through the mesh during everyday wear. The harness also uses elastic reflective webbing, a foam handle, Oxford fabric, a plastic buckle and a zinc alloy A-buckle.

Its small size and Verdant Green colour define this variant. The adjustable design is intended to help you find a snug fit for your dog, fasten the buckles and adjust the straps before attaching the leash. A properly fitted harness should sit securely without restricting comfortable movement.

Getting the most from it

For a neighbourhood walk, adjust the harness before heading out, attach the leash at the front clip and keep the handle within reach for moments when you want closer guidance. The breathable mesh and padded construction suit regular walks, while the water-repellent outer material is useful when the route includes light drizzle. Reflective details can add visibility during early or late outings when light reaches the webbing.

The handle is also useful for guiding your dog through a doorway or helping manoeuvre around an obstacle. Use it for close control rather than as a substitute for the leash during a walk. The buckle closure and adjustment points make the harness adaptable to your dog's fit as you prepare to go out.

Before you decide

How does the H-shaped design help during walks? It distributes pulling force across the chest and back, avoiding direct leash pressure on the throat. The front clip gives you a leash attachment point for your walking setup.

What is the back handle for? It provides a grip for closer control when guiding your dog through a confined area or around an obstacle.

Can I use it in light rain or on dimly lit walks? The 300D outer nylon is water-repellent for light drizzle, and reflective webbing can help make the harness more noticeable when light catches it.

When it makes sense

This Small harness suits dog owners looking for an adjustable, padded alternative to a collar for everyday walks and training. Its H-shaped fit, front clip and back handle serve different practical needs, while the breathable mesh, water-repellent outer material and reflective webbing add useful details for changing walk conditions. Choose the Verdant Green variant for a small-size harness with those features in one design.
