Game Master s63000 Swax Training Baseball 2-Pack, Faux Leather

Made with faux leather, the Swax Training Baseball set gives you two balls for baseball practice. Its regulation size and weight help maintain a familiar feel for throwing and catching, while the softer design reduces the sting of impact. With less distance travelled when hit than a real baseball, it also suits indoor drills and smaller practice areas.

At a glance

Each ball has a stitched faux-leather construction and is designed for baseball practice. The two-ball pack works well for solo drills or playing catch with a partner, so there’s another ball ready while you retrieve the first. Its regulation size and weight make it a practical training tool for players learning how to catch and throw with the feel of a standard baseball. The softer design is intended to make practice more comfortable, especially when players are building confidence.

The indoor-friendly design travels about 50% less distance when hit compared with a real baseball. That shorter travel can help keep drills manageable in a smaller space. Buyers often value the familiar baseball weight and use the balls for catching practice, feedback on softness and durability varies, so individual impressions of feel can differ.

Quick sizing guide

This is a regulation-size-and-weight training baseball, rather than a smaller practice ball. That makes it a useful choice when you want catching and throwing drills to feel closer to working with a standard baseball. The product is listed for all ages and for baseball practice, making it relevant to beginners developing basic skills as well as players looking for a practice ball with a familiar size and weight.

Choose this two-pack when the priority is repeated practice with a standard baseball feel and a gentler impact. Compared with a regular baseball, the Swax design offers a softer construction and travels about 50% less distance when hit. For indoor drills or a compact practice area, that combination can make it easier to work on throwing and catching without needing the same open space as a full-distance hit.

Practical tips

Use the pair for simple partner drills: take turns throwing and catching, or practise hand positioning and tracking the ball. A familiar size and weight support baseball-style repetitions, while the softer design is intended to reduce the sting if a player is hit. These features can help beginners focus on the movement of catching and throwing and build confidence through practice.

For indoor use or a smaller outdoor area, the reduced travel distance when hit is a practical distinction from a real baseball. The stitched construction is made for repeated throws and hits. As with any training ball, adjust the drill and throwing distance to the players and space available. Buyers’ experiences with softness and durability are mixed, alongside positive comments about catching practice and the ball’s realistic weight.

Final verdict

The Game Master Swax Training Baseball 2-Pack is suited to players who want a standard-size-and-weight feel for practice, with a softer design for catching and throwing drills. Two balls support partner practice, and the shorter travel when hit makes the set particularly useful for indoor sessions or smaller spaces. It’s a focused choice for building baseball skills with a more manageable training ball.
