## Description

For smoothing a furniture panel, preparing wood for a new finish or tackling a home workshop project, this corded random orbital sander gives you adjustable speed for different sanding tasks. Its six-speed dial ranges from 6,000 to 13,000 OPM, so you can tailor the pace to the surface and the work at hand. A rubberized handle and included sanding discs make it ready for a range of woodworking and refinishing jobs.

## Who it’s for
The GALAX PRO 6206 is suited to DIYers, furniture refinishers and crafters who want a palm sander for sanding and polishing projects. Its corded 2.4-amp motor provides powered operation for workshop and household tasks, while the variable-speed control lets you choose a gentler pace for polishing or a faster one for material removal. Rather than choosing a fixed-speed tool for every task, you can adjust this sander as the surface and job change.

The rubberized soft grip is shaped for a secure, comfortable hold, giving you a practical point of control as you guide the sander across a workpiece. Buyers commonly describe it as easy to use and say it handles their project needs, feedback is mixed on vibration, dust collection, noise and durability. That range of feedback is useful context when choosing a sander for regular jobs or occasional DIY work.

## Technical overview
- Type: Corded random orbital palm sander
- Sanding disc size: 5 inches
- Motor: 2.4 amp
- Speed: Six settings, from 6,000 to 13,000 OPM
- Dust collection: Detachable dust collector
- Included: Palm sander, five 80-grit discs, five 100-grit discs, five 120-grit discs, dust collection bag and user manual
- Dimensions: 22.8 x 12.8 x 16.4 centimetres

The supplied discs cover 80, 100 and 120 grit, giving you several starting points for wood sanding and surface preparation. The hook-and-loop disc attachment makes it straightforward to remove a used disc and fit another as you move between grits. The detachable dust collector gathers sanding debris as you work, helping keep the immediate work area more organized, empty it as needed during the job.

## Where it shines
For a furniture refresh, you could start with a coarser supplied disc to work on the surface, then switch to a finer grit as you prepare it for polishing or a new finish. The six-speed dial makes it possible to change the sanding pace between stages, while the palm-sander format supports controlled work across panels and other woodworking surfaces. It is also a practical match for varied household projects where having more than one grit close at hand helps keep the work moving.

The choice between this adjustable random orbital sander and a simpler fixed-speed approach comes down to how much control you want across different tasks. Here, the variable dial, three included grits and detachable dust collector bring those functions together in one corded tool. A solid pick if you want a versatile sander for furniture refinishing, woodworking and craft projects.

## Final verdict
Choose the GALAX PRO 6206 for a corded sanding setup with adjustable speed, a comfortable rubberized grip and a useful selection of sanding discs in the box. Its range of speeds and grits makes it well suited to moving between surface preparation, sanding and polishing tasks around the home or workshop.
