Its extendable, rotatable boom arm helps bring the mic closer to your preferred speaking position. The stand is designed for everyday recording and streaming at home or in an office. A metal body, round cast-iron base and locking knobs make it a practical fit for a desk-based setup. If you need a fixed mic position, a simple stand may do the job, if you want to adjust reach and angle between recording tasks, this model’s boom arm offers more flexibility. ## Best use cases Use the adjustable height pole and extendable boom arm to position a microphone for podcasting, voice recording, live streaming or gaming broadcasts. The arm rotates and tilts, so you can set up around your keyboard, screen and speaking position rather than arranging your workflow around a fixed mic location. It also suits online teaching, conference speeches, interview recording and voice-overs. For example, you can move the microphone into place for a recording session, then adjust its angle for a video call or class. Its compact tabletop format is intended for home, office and personal studio desks, where a desktop stand can keep the setup close at hand. ## Technical overview - Model: Basic Mount - Type: Adjustable tabletop microphone stand with extendable boom arm - Maximum height: 40 centimetres - Body material: Metal - Base: Round cast-iron base - Compatibility: Universal standard mic clip, fits most dynamic and condenser microphones - Dimensions: 14 x 7 x 31.5 centimetres - Weight: 1.13 kg The height pole adjusts steplessly, while the boom arm extends, rotates and tilts to help set the microphone’s position. Two metal locking knobs secure the arm after adjustment. The thickened cast-iron base is designed to support the stand and help it remain balanced when the arm is extended. ## Why it’s worth it This stand combines height adjustment with an extendable boom, giving you more ways to position a desktop microphone than a basic fixed-height holder. That flexibility is useful when switching between speaking, recording and streaming, or when more than one person needs a comfortable mic position at the same desk. The standard mic clip is designed for use with most dynamic and condenser microphones, as well as many live-broadcast, gaming and interview mics. The metal construction and locking controls support regular adjustments, while the round base provides a stable desktop footprint. Together, these features make it a straightforward way to organize a home recording or work-from-home audio setup without adding a floor stand. ## Practical questions Which microphones can I use with this stand? The universal standard mic clip fits most dynamic and condenser microphones. It is also described for live-broadcast, gaming and interview microphones. Can I change the microphone’s position? Yes. Adjust the pole height, then extend, rotate or tilt the boom arm. The two metal locking knobs secure the arm in the chosen position. What is it suited for? Its tabletop design and adjustable arm suit podcasting, streaming, gaming broadcasts, voice recording, online classes, interviews, voice-overs and conference speeches. ## Is it worth it? For desk-based audio work, the Basic Mount brings together an adjustable pole, a versatile boom arm and a cast-iron round base in one compact stand. It’s a practical choice for creators, streamers, teachers and home-office users who want to position a compatible microphone for different recording and speaking tasks. ## Images ![futrue-wolker Basic Mount Desktop Microphone Stand with Adjustable Boom Arm — 1](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/yQgu4-NDnIybw3Y7g3XD2yVQojd_EGzu6MFtqz2sm1rnsjCPViioopgeHvRQs3WLaBBl2FHz7lvACUabv4svuuFSflX-gQyBJziPcH47g2qZS_KwvPtGItkG3g.jpg) ![futrue-wolker Basic Mount Desktop Microphone Stand with Adjustable Boom Arm — 2](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/Vmlm2SE7RWu8MXn9caW1kyh0CK0tudH4KOpq4PPr3_M4ZOX1rvDO18WP9k3OS8J5NVeekGOSgwyBKRKbOs-kQZIrX0KOCArnOUnYuOFFKUETnZntCiTyGu97iA.jpg) ![futrue-wolker Basic Mount Desktop Microphone Stand with Adjustable Boom Arm — 3](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/Vv1vfIqzv9qyIr1jJKeuo7p1d2heoZichzZQ4mYAUML31UXe_OEltQee14yvmBJpoyJKCY_kCPWyPvTJS1wnfbT3e4n4yWsXTjGwMGWOlZigr-3yBBu7xS3aRA.jpg) ![futrue-wolker Basic Mount Desktop Microphone Stand with Adjustable Boom Arm — 4](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/bBJN-EA_LQN2Bha93BA2DZ0Not6LPW_-GZUgbHm0SEuq3ZRdeMYKNSG4AiWv3flKysIQg7Y9RGgvUmwe6Ois5VyrFUimttmrnsOWCuGpS0YIWyBFRgkRR4cpUQ.jpg) ![futrue-wolker Basic Mount Desktop Microphone Stand with Adjustable Boom Arm — 5](https://www.ofertitastop.com/i/Zp_CgH_aRrKQXXb6_gIobxyYN0GTkXQlWeB9-AHyojMrRcW50bAEzwhH0nU7S-ksupBYyO5NYKhxTyiUmaO4x45tKAktVT02AnHBlWcD3bGUWMMgsezEj0Gqyw.jpg)
