## Description

For gardeners who want a dedicated outdoor space for vegetables, herbs or flowers, the FOUBAM raised bed brings planting into one rectangular garden box. Its black finish gives the bed a defined look in a patio or other outdoor growing area.

Galvanized, coated steel panels form the sides, with crossbars and fixing stakes helping the structure hold its shape. The bed measures 232 cm long, 113.5 cm wide and 30 cm high.

An open base lets water drain into the ground below, while the built-in drainage hole supports water movement through the bed. How could a single planting area simplify tending several kinds of plants?

## Quick overview

This floor-standing outdoor planter is designed for growing vegetables, flowers and herbs. Its rectangular footprint creates a shared growing area rather than relying on several separate pots, making it easier to group plants in one place. The 30 cm height defines the planting space, and the open-bottom construction allows roots to reach the soil beneath the bed while helping prevent water from collecting at the base.

The steel panels have a coated finish described as rust- and corrosion-resistant. Crossbars and fixing stakes provide added support to help the panels retain their form. The parts are painted with environmentally friendly paint, as described by the product information.

## Best use cases

Use the bed outdoors to bring a vegetable patch, herb garden or flower planting together in a rectangular area. On a patio, it can establish a clear growing zone, placed over suitable ground, its open base connects the bed with the soil underneath. This makes it a practical format for gardeners who prefer a defined planting bed to arranging individual containers.

The footprint is a useful factor when choosing a location: allow space for the 232 cm length and 113.5 cm width, and consider access to the plants from around the bed. Its black colour also gives the planting area a consistent, understated appearance alongside outdoor spaces.

## Tips for day-to-day use

Assemble the frame using the included hardware and instructions, then position it in the outdoor area you plan to use for planting. The crossbars and fixing stakes are part of the support structure, so follow the supplied assembly instructions when putting the panels together. Once in place, the open base and drainage hole help water pass through rather than leaving it pooled at the bottom.

The rectangular layout makes it straightforward to organize vegetables, herbs and flowers into distinct sections within one bed. Keep the intended planting area accessible for routine watering and care, and use the full footprint to plan how you want to arrange your plants.

## Is it worth it?

For gardeners looking to create one substantial outdoor planting area, this FOUBAM bed combines a large rectangular footprint with galvanized coated steel construction, structural crossbars and an open base. It offers a clear alternative to spreading plants across multiple pots, with room to organize vegetables, herbs or flowers together. If a defined outdoor garden bed suits your space and planting plans, its format and drainage-focused design make it a useful foundation for getting started.
