## Description

The 4-1/2-inch Fogera ML-A005 cordless angle grinder is designed for grinding, cutting and rust removal, with a brushless motor and three speed settings to suit different tasks. Its cordless format makes it practical for work in a garage or on a jobsite where moving a corded tool around is less convenient.

It is made for use with a DeWalt 20V MAX battery and is sold as a tool only, so you can plan around a compatible battery you already have or source one separately.

## Getting the most from it
Choose low, medium or high speed to match the work, from polishing to more demanding grinding or cutting. The speed-lock button helps maintain a consistent setting while you work, and the maximum rotational speed is 11,000 rpm. For a practical rust-removal job, the cordless design lets you move around a metal workpiece without managing a power cord, for cutting or grinding, the adjustable guard can be positioned to help shield against sparks and debris.

The spindle lock supports disc changes, while the rubberized handle is designed to provide a more secure, comfortable grip. Adjust the guard for the task before starting, and keep it in place during use.

## Strengths
The main advantage is having grinding and cutting functions in one cordless tool, with selectable speeds for a range of metalworking jobs. The adjustable 360° guard, spindle lock and speed-lock button add useful control at the workpiece, while the rubberized grip is intended to support steady handling. Compared with choosing a corded grinder for a fixed work area, this battery-powered format is suited to jobs where freedom to move around the workpiece matters.

Buyer feedback is mixed on power and battery compatibility. Some buyers report satisfactory performance with DeWalt batteries, while others describe compatibility or power concerns. A few also report durability problems after limited use, so these experiences are worth considering alongside the tool’s listed features.

## Before you decide
**Does it come with a battery?** No. This is a tool-only product, so a compatible DeWalt 20V MAX battery is needed for cordless operation.

**Can the speed be adjusted?** Yes. Select low, medium or high, and use the speed-lock button to maintain a consistent setting during a task.

**What work is it designed for?** It is intended for metal grinding, cutting and rust removal. The adjustable guard helps shield against sparks and debris during use.

## When it makes sense
It’s a good fit if you want a cordless grinder for metalwork and already use, or plan to use, a compatible DeWalt 20V MAX battery. Its 4-1/2-inch format, three speed settings and brushless motor make it a practical choice for moving between grinding, cutting and rust removal without relying on a cord at the work area.
