## What it works with
The TR-U2 is designed for electric guitar, acoustic-electric guitar, bass, keyboard, ukulele and violin. Its 1/4-inch TS plug rotates to accommodate different jack positions, including recessed Strat-style jacks. It works with active and passive pickups, multi-effect pedals and amps, so it can suit a range of existing instrument setups without an adapter.

The transmitter and receiver pair automatically and select a channel from the seven available. If you need to change channels manually, double-click to switch. Up to six sets can operate simultaneously in the same venue, a practical detail for group rehearsals or shared performance spaces.

## Everyday use
For practice, the wireless connection lets you move around without a guitar cable running between your instrument and amp. At a rehearsal or gig, the stated 100ft+ line-of-sight range gives you room to move, while 5.58ms latency is intended to keep the wireless signal closely aligned with your playing. The 5.8GHz band and anti-interference design are made for use where wireless activity can be busy.

A full charge provides more than six hours of continuous use, and the included USB-C cable handles charging. Auto-sleep helps conserve battery when either unit has been inactive for 10 minutes. Buyers also highlight the ease of operation and the freedom of playing without a cable, with positive comments about sound and use with active basses.

## Buying verdict
Choose the flatsons TR-U2 for a cable-free instrument setup with broad instrument compatibility, a rotating 1/4-inch plug and simple automatic pairing. It brings practical freedom of movement to home practice, rehearsals and performances, while its rechargeable battery supports extended playing between charges.
