## Description

For GE gas-stove owners looking for a replacement centre griddle, the FlameDuty WB31X24738 provides a broad cast-iron cooking surface for everyday meals. Its rectangular shape and 49.5 x 24.1 cm dimensions give you room to cook pancakes, burgers or sautéed vegetables. Want to prepare several items on one surface instead of juggling separate pans? This griddle is designed for that practical stovetop use.

## Tech summary

Made from cast iron, this black griddle measures 49.5L x 24.1W x 3.8Th centimetres and weighs 4.67 kg. The solid cooking surface is intended for use on a gas stove, with a smooth, non-stick surface described as requiring no complicated seasoning. Its size gives ingredients space to cook together, which can help simplify breakfast, lunch or dinner preparation when you are making more than one portion.

The replacement reference is WB31X24738, and the listed model details also include WB31X24998. Compatibility information names a range of GE gas-stove models, including JGB700SEJ4SS and JGSS66SEL3SS, as well as other models in the JGB, JGS and PGB series. Since model variations matter when choosing a replacement, match your stove’s model number against the compatibility listing and compare the cooktop space with the griddle’s dimensions before ordering.

## Practical tips

Use the griddle for foods that benefit from a wide, shared cooking area: pancakes for breakfast, burgers for a family meal, or vegetables sautéed alongside other ingredients. Compared with using several individual pans, a single griddle offers one continuous surface for preparing multiple items at once. That makes it a useful format when you want to keep stovetop cooking together and make good use of the centre burner area.

For care, the product information recommends wiping the smooth surface with warm water and a gentle cleaner. It also notes that proper seasoning and maintenance can help extend the griddle’s service life. Allow the cooking surface to cool before cleaning, and follow the care guidance for your stove and cookware. The listed construction is cast iron with a matte enamel finish, and the product information says a metal spatula can be used on the griddle.

Buyers commonly praise the fit, even heating and straightforward cleaning, with some describing the plate as a strong-performing replacement. These are individual customer impressions rather than a guarantee, checking the exact stove model and dimensions remains the useful step when selecting a replacement part.

## In the box

The listed contents are one WB31X24738 GE gas-stove griddle. Its rectangular format and cast-iron construction make it a dedicated stovetop surface for meals that call for room to cook several ingredients together.

## Is it worth it?

If your GE gas stove is listed as compatible and you want a replacement griddle rather than another collection of separate pans, this FlameDuty model brings a substantial cast-iron surface to the centre of the cooktop. The specified dimensions, multiple listed GE model matches and everyday uses—from pancakes to burgers and vegetables—make it a practical choice for regular stovetop cooking. Confirm the stove model and available cooktop space, then choose it for the convenience of preparing several ingredients on one griddle.
