## Description

For a 10.2-inch iPad, the Fintie rotating case is designed to fit the 7th, 8th and 9th generation models. Its 360° swivel lets you switch between portrait and landscape viewing without removing the tablet. A dual-layer construction pairs a hard interior with a synthetic leather exterior, while the built-in holder keeps an Apple Pencil and its accessories close at hand.

## Quick overview
The rotating mount gives this case more flexibility than a fixed-position stand: turn the iPad to suit reading, video calls or watching content, then use the elastic band to keep the cover closed while carrying it. The case also supports automatic wake and sleep when opened or closed, making it convenient to move between viewing and storage throughout the day.

The snap-in design is made for straightforward fitting: position the left side first, then snap in the right. A protective hard interior and synthetic leather exterior help shield the tablet from scratches during everyday use. The built-in slots are intended for an Apple Pencil, cap and adapter, so these small accessories can travel with the iPad, the Pencil, cap and adapter are not included.

Buyers often praise the fit and rotating function, and many describe the cover as sturdy. Feedback on how steadily it holds the tablet upright is mixed, so the viewing angle and surface can matter when setting up the stand.

## Fit and sizing
This case is specifically designed for the 10.2-inch iPad 9th generation (2021), 8th generation (2020) and 7th generation (2019). The listed model identifiers are A2602, A2603, A2604 and A2605 for the 9th generation, A2270, A2428, A2429 and A2430 for the 8th, and A2197, A2200 and A2198 for the 7th. Match your iPad’s generation and model identifier to these details before fitting the case.

Once installed, the rotating frame makes it easy to move between portrait and landscape without taking the tablet out. That flexibility is useful when switching from a landscape video to portrait reading or a video call. If you prefer a stand with a single fixed orientation, that simpler style offers a different approach, this case is suited to people who want to change viewing direction using the same cover.

## Best use cases
For everyday viewing at home, the swivel stand helps orient the screen for a recipe, a video or a video call. In a shared space, rotating the tablet can make it easier to show content to someone beside you. The automatic wake/sleep function supports quick transitions between active use and closing the cover, while the elastic band helps keep it shut when packed away or carried between rooms.

The accessory slots are practical for keeping an Apple Pencil, cap and adapter together with the tablet rather than loose in a bag. The case’s dual-layer construction also makes it a useful everyday cover for protecting the iPad’s exterior from scratches. Its specific fit for three 10.2-inch iPad generations is the key selection detail, it is not a general-purpose tablet case.

## Final verdict
Choose the Fintie EPAK140US if you want one cover for a compatible 10.2-inch iPad that can support both portrait and landscape viewing. Its 360° rotation, automatic wake/sleep, elastic closure and accessory slots bring useful flexibility to reading, video calls and casual viewing, while the hard interior and synthetic leather exterior provide an everyday protective shell.
