## Description

The adjustable scissor arm lets you position a microphone near your speaking or singing space, then fold it back when you need more room on the desk. Its metal construction supports microphones up to 2 kg, making it a practical choice for recording, streaming, gaming and podcast setups.

A desk clamp secures the arm to the work surface, while the included cable ties help keep the microphone cable organized along the setup. Want a recording position that can move with your workflow rather than a stand fixed in one spot? The BM63’s adjustable joints provide that flexibility.

## Everyday use

Set the arm at a comfortable angle for a podcast, vocal recording or live stream, then reposition it as your activity changes. The arm adjusts vertically through 180° and horizontally through 135°, and it folds aside after use to free up desk space for a keyboard, accessories or other equipment. Keeping the microphone suspended above the desk also helps separate it from desk contact and vibration.

The desk clamp is designed for desktops up to 2 inches thick. Its mounting screw fits 3/8-inch or 5/8-inch microphone threads, so check that your microphone or its mount uses one of these sizes before setting up. FIFINE lists models including the K658, K688 and A8 as compatible examples.

## Where it shines

For a home recording or streaming station, the BM63 combines adjustable reach with a clamp-mounted base, avoiding the need to dedicate a separate stand footprint to the microphone. Move the mic into position for a session, then fold the arm toward a desk corner when you want the space back. The included Velcro cable ties help keep the cable close to the arm instead of loose across the work surface.

The arm’s stated 2 kg capacity suits setups using a heavier microphone, within that weight limit. Buyers describe the stand as functional and say it holds microphones in place, feedback is mixed on sturdiness, adjustability and fit. Those varied impressions make it especially useful to match the arm’s thread size, clamp fit and weight capacity to the microphone and desk in your setup.

**Is a microphone included?** No. The package includes the boom arm stand, desk clamp, three Velcro cable ties and a user manual, the microphone is not included.

## When it makes sense

It suits you if you want a metal, fold-away boom arm for a desk-based recording, gaming, streaming or podcast setup, and your microphone is within the 2 kg capacity and fits the mounting thread. The adjustable arm helps place the mic where you need it during a session, while its foldable design makes it easier to reclaim desktop space afterwards.
