## Description

The 15.35-inch wooden board folds into a case, bringing chess and checkers together in one set. Magnetic pieces attach to the board, helping keep them in place during a game.

Designed for two players, this set includes chess pieces, checkers pieces and two extra queens. The board opens for play and folds away to hold the pieces between games.

Want one board that offers a choice of classic games? The 2-in-1 format lets players switch from chess to checkers without setting up a separate board.

## What you’ll notice day to day

The magnetic chess and checker pieces stay attached to the board as you play, a practical feature when a game is set up on a table that may be moved or bumped. The board’s folding design also makes it easier to put the set away together: the pieces fit into foam slots inside the folded case, helping keep them organized for storage or transport.

With two games in one, it works well for a family game night, a relaxed match between friends or a chess session followed by checkers. Chess rules are included, so players have a reference to get started. The set is intended for two players, keeping the format simple to set up for a head-to-head game.

## What matters most

The main distinction is the combination of a wooden folding board, magnetic pieces and two familiar games. A single-game chess set may suit someone focused only on chess, this one adds checkers and the convenience of folding the board into a case. The two extra queens provide additional chess pieces for play, while the magnetic bases help hold pieces to the board during a match.

Buyers often praise the set’s appearance and craftsmanship, describing it as nicely made and noting its attractive look. Feedback on the magnetic hold and overall stability is mixed, so those impressions vary. The wood finish and folding format give the set a traditional board-game feel while making it straightforward to pack away after play.

## Tips for day-to-day use

After a game, return the pieces to their foam slots before folding the board. This keeps them organized inside the case and ready for the next match. Open the board on a level playing surface, then choose chess or checkers and set up the corresponding pieces. Keeping the pieces together in the folded board also makes it easier to carry the set to another room or bring it along for a game away from home.

## What to clarify

Does this set include both chess and checkers? Yes. It comes with chess and checker pieces, so players can use the same board for either game.

How many people can play? The set is designed for two players, making it suited to a one-on-one match.

How are the pieces stored? The board folds into a case, and foam slots inside hold the pieces when the set is packed away.

## Final verdict

For players who want a two-person game set that offers more than chess alone, the Exqline combines chess and checkers with magnetic pieces and a foldable wooden board. It’s a practical fit for home game nights and for keeping both games together between sessions.
