## Description

At 10.2” x 10.2”, the Etekcity FIT 8S is a compact glass bathroom scale with an LED display and a 400 lb capacity. Its 0.1 lb / 0.05 kg increments make it easy to follow weight changes, while Bluetooth connects readings with the VeSync app for ongoing tracking.

Want more context than a weight reading alone? The scale uses BIA technology to provide 13 measurements, including body fat percentage, muscle mass, water weight and BMI. Three pre-installed AAA batteries are included, so it’s ready for everyday weighing.

## Best use cases

Use the FIT 8S for regular at-home weigh-ins and to keep a broader view of body-composition measurements in one place. In the VeSync app, you can set personal goals and follow progress over time. If you already use a fitness app, the scale can sync data with Fitbit, Apple Health, Samsung Health, Google Fit and MyFitnessPal, helping bring those measurements into your preferred tracking routine.

For a shared household, unlimited user profiles let family members and friends track their own progress. Baby mode can also help record the growth of children or pets. The compact platform is lightweight and easy to move around the floor, making it practical to keep in a bathroom or shift out of the way between uses.

## Why it makes sense

A basic digital scale centres on body weight, the FIT 8S adds connected tracking and a wider set of measurements for people who want more context as part of a daily routine. The LED display gives a direct readout, while the VeSync app offers a place to set goals and review trends. You can also connect VeSync to Alexa to ask how much weight you’ve lost that month.

Its 5 mm tempered-glass surface, smooth rounded corners and compact form suit regular home use. The scale is designed for adults, and its multiple profiles make it useful when several people want to keep separate records rather than share a single history.

## Worth noting

The scale measures in lb, kg or st, with 0.1 lb / 0.05 kg increments and a 400 lb capacity. Its display measures 2.3” x 1.0”, the overall scale dimensions are 10.2” x 10.2” x 0.8”. For a consistent tracking routine, use the same unit and review readings in the app alongside your chosen fitness apps. The package includes the scale, three pre-installed 1.5V AAA batteries and a user manual.

## Questions before you buy

**What can the scale measure beyond body weight?** It provides 13 data points using BIA technology, including body fat percentage, muscle mass, water weight and BMI.

**Can I view readings in other fitness apps?** Yes. VeSync can sync data with Fitbit, Apple Health, Samsung Health, Google Fit and MyFitnessPal.

**Can more than one person use it?** Yes. You can create unlimited user profiles for family and friends, and use baby mode to track children or pets as they grow.

## When it makes sense

Choose the Etekcity FIT 8S if you want a compact bathroom scale that pairs everyday weigh-ins with app-based progress tracking and multiple body-composition measurements. Its connected features, household profiles and easy-to-read LED display support a practical routine for individual or shared home use.
