## Description

Use the Ergohortus raised beds to create a dedicated outdoor growing area for vegetables, flowers or fruit. The two-piece set gives you room to organize different plants in separate beds or arrange them together.

Each oval bed measures 4x2x1ft, with deepened sides that provide generous soil capacity and root space. The silver galvanized steel has a coated finish for outdoor use.

For plants that climb or need extra support, adjustable poles are included. The open base also allows water to drain through, making this set a practical alternative to closed-bottom planters when direct drainage matters.

## What matters most

The oval shape offers more soil capacity than traditional round pots, while the 120D x 60W x 30H centimetre dimensions give roots room to grow. An open base supports drainage and root respiration, and the raised format helps define a planting area in a backyard or garden. Use the beds for vegetables, flowers, fruit or other outdoor plants.

The set includes four adjustable plant support poles across the two beds. They’re designed for climbing or delicate-stemmed plants such as tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, peas and roses, helping guide growth upwards. The galvanized steel construction has a rust-proof coating, and the rolled top edge and rounded corners are designed to make handling more comfortable.

Buyers often appreciate the appearance, colour, size and straightforward assembly. Feedback on the edges is mixed, so take care when handling the metal during setup.

## Who it’s for

This set suits gardeners who want more defined planting space than individual pots provide, along with room to grow several types of plants. It’s also useful when climbing or fragile-stemmed crops need support. If you’re choosing between a self-contained planter and an open-base garden bed, the open design is the better fit when drainage through the base is part of your planting setup.

## Usage tips

Assemble the beds using the included hardware and instructions, then position them as separate growing areas or combine them in a row to suit your space. Set the support poles for plants that benefit from an upward guide, such as cucumbers or peas. With the open base, place each bed where water can drain into the ground beneath it. During assembly, handle the metal edges carefully.

## Before you decide

**What plants can I grow in these beds?** The beds are intended for vegetables, flowers, fruit and other plants. The adjustable poles are designed to support climbing or delicate-stemmed varieties, including tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, peas and roses.

**Can I arrange the two beds to fit my garden?** Yes. The beds can be set up individually or combined in a row, so you can arrange the planting area around your available space.

**How does water drain from the planter?** The base is open, allowing water to drain through and supporting root respiration. Position the bed where this drainage suits your garden.

## Final verdict

Choose the Ergohortus set for two galvanized steel beds that bring generous root space, open-base drainage and adjustable plant support together. It’s especially useful for creating an organized outdoor growing area for a mix of plants, including climbers that benefit from a guiding structure.
