## Description

If you mainly need a lighter for sheltered, everyday use, a compact flame-style design may be enough, this one is aimed at situations where wind, awkward reach or a little extra light matter. Its single plasma arc is paired with a retractable flexible neck and a flashlight, so it combines ignition and basic illumination in one tool. The useful question is whether those extras match how you camp, hike or fish, rather than simply whether you want a rechargeable lighter.

## How to use it

The neck extends to 2.13 inches and swivels to different angles, which may help when the item you want to light is recessed or hard to reach. For example, while setting up at a campsite, you could angle the lighter towards a stove or fire starter without bringing your hand as close to the target. The flexible reach is the main practical distinction here, it is less compelling if you only need to light things that are already easy to access.

The built-in flashlight sits at the bottom and offers high, low and strobe modes. The listed high setting is 80 lm with a one-hour runtime, while low is 50 lm with a two-hour runtime. Strobe is described for outdoor emergency signalling, but no runtime is given for that mode. It is useful to have light close at hand, though this is still a small built-in torch rather than a dedicated camping lantern.

## Pros

The plasma arc is described as windproof and does not use fuel or produce a flame. That can be handy when a conventional lighter struggles in breezy conditions, and USB-C charging avoids replacing disposable lighters. A USB-A to USB-C cable is included, and the 220 mAh lithium battery is listed as fully charging in under 1.5 hours.

Water protection comes with an important condition: the safety clasp must be secured. The listing claims full waterproof protection in that state, including after accidental submersion, but gives no waterproof rating. Without having tested it, I would treat the clasp as essential rather than assume the lighter can be left open around water. It suits you if you want wind-resistant ignition, adjustable reach and a small flashlight in one item. It’s not for you if you need a dedicated bright light, a multi-arc lighter or a waterproof rating you can compare against a specific requirement.

## Spec sheet

- Wind and water protection: Described as windproof, waterproof protection requires the safety clasp to be secured

## What I’d decide

This is a practical pick if your outdoor kit would benefit from a lighter that can reach around an awkward angle and provide a small amount of light without carrying a separate torch. The retractable neck and three flashlight modes give it more specific uses than a basic lighter, especially around a campsite or on a fishing trip after dark. The trade-off is that it remains a single-arc lighter with a modest built-in light, and the listing does not provide a waterproof rating or strobe runtime. Choose it for those combined, occasional-use features, look elsewhere if lighting performance or documented water resistance is the deciding factor.
