EF ECOFLOW Rapid Pro X 300W Laptop Power Bank, 27,650mAh, 140W USB-C

At 27,650mAh and 99.54Wh, the EF ECOFLOW Rapid Pro X is a portable USB-C power bank designed to keep a laptop and other personal devices charged away from an outlet. Its 300W total output is shared across a 140W USB-C port, two 65W USB-C ports and a built-in 2 ft retractable USB-C cable, so you can connect several devices without packing a separate cable for that connection.

A 3.9-inch LCD shows power-use information, while app control lets you adjust display options. The capacity and charging mix make it useful for travel or a busy day with more than one device, the main decision is whether its USB-C connections and stated output suit the devices you plan to carry.

Best use cases

The Rapid Pro X is aimed at people who need portable power for a laptop alongside a phone, handheld gaming device or other USB-C gear. The advertised 300W total output supports charging up to four devices at once, which can reduce the need to carry separate power banks. The built-in 2 ft retractable cable is handy when you want one charging lead integrated into the unit, though its length may not suit every setup.

For travel, the listed 99.54Wh capacity is below 100Wh, and the product information states that it meets TSA requirements for carry-on baggage. That can be relevant when planning air travel, but check the rules that apply to your trip rather than treating a product claim as a guarantee for every airline or route. A solid pick if you regularly carry several USB-C devices and want a single portable source of power.

Why it’s worth it

The port arrangement gives you a choice between higher-power laptop charging and sharing output across devices. The 140W USB-C connection supports both input and output, while the two other USB-C ports are rated for 65W output each. The supplied information also describes recharging at up to 140W through one input, reaching 80% in 40 minutes, or up to 280W through multiple inputs, reaching 80% in 26 minutes. With an EcoFlow 320W charging station, it states that 80% is reached in 20 minutes. These are different charging setups, so the fastest times depend on using the specified input equipment and configuration.

The screen and app add monitoring and personalisation rather than changing what the bank can power. You can view power-use data, change clock themes and set standby patterns. Safety features listed include temperature control, eco-mode at 111.2°F (44°C), and a stop at 80% charge in that mode. For laptops, the product information points to EcoFlow Power Manager software for optimised charging and overheating protection.

Key takeaways

This is a high-capacity USB-C power bank with a clearly defined laptop-friendly output, a built-in retractable cable and a display. It makes more sense than a basic phone-only charger when you need to power several devices or want higher-wattage USB-C output on the go. It might not be a great match if your devices need an AC outlet: the listed connections are USB-C, and no AC output is specified. Check each device’s charging requirements and the power shared across connected ports before relying on it for a particular setup.

What to clarify

Does it charge a laptop? The product lists a 140W USB-C port and describes laptop charging, but the result depends on the laptop’s requirements and the charging setup.

Can it charge several devices at once? It is described as supporting four devices simultaneously, with 300W total output across its connections. The available power is shared, so individual charging rates may vary with the devices connected.

How quickly does the power bank recharge? The stated times vary by input: 80% in 40 minutes at 140W single-port input, 26 minutes at 280W multi-port input, or 20 minutes with an EcoFlow 320W charging station. Those figures describe specific charging arrangements, not one universal recharge time.

Final verdict

Choose the Rapid Pro X if laptop-capable USB-C output, a 27,650mAh capacity and the ability to charge several devices are the priorities. Its display and retractable cable add convenience, while the recharge figures are most useful if you can provide the specified high-wattage input equipment. If your setup depends on AC power or you only need a simple phone charger, a more basic or differently equipped option may be a closer fit.
