## Description

Choosing speakers for a desk is different from building a stereo setup for a living room. The Edifier R2000DB gives you a two-speaker bookshelf system with wireless Bluetooth and wired digital and analogue inputs. Its 5-inch woofers and 120 W RMS output suit music, films, gaming and computer audio.

## Quick sizing guide
The R2000DB is a pair of bookshelf speakers, with a 5-inch woofer and a 1-inch tweeter in each speaker. The brown engineered-wood enclosures bring a wood finish to a shelf, desk or home entertainment area. This format makes sense when you want separated left- and right-channel sound from a stereo pair, rather than a single speaker designed mainly for portable listening. Place the pair where they can connect to power and to your chosen audio sources, then use the remote to adjust the volume and select an input.

## What you’ll notice day to day
Bluetooth makes it easy to play audio from a compatible phone or tablet without running an audio cable across the room. For a television, computer, Blu-ray player or gaming console with an optical output, the optical input provides a direct digital connection, an optical cable is included. Two AUX inputs let you keep two analogue devices connected at once, so switching between a computer and another source does not require unplugging cables. RCA and 3.5 mm-to-RCA cables are also included for compatible connections.

A practical setup could pair a computer at a desk with a television or console in a shared entertainment space. Use Bluetooth for everyday music streaming, then select the relevant wired input for a screen or game system. The compact remote lets you change sources, adjust volume, mute the speakers and choose DSP modes from across the room. Bass and treble controls on the back panel offer further adjustment, each from -6 to +6 dB.

Customer feedback often highlights clear sound, the wood-finish appearance and convenient Bluetooth pairing. Impressions of volume and reliability vary, and some buyers are less positive about the remote. The R2000DB’s combination of wireless playback and several wired inputs is particularly useful if you want one stereo pair to serve more than one listening setup.
