Dunatou Vinyl Record Storage Crate, 40-Record Capacity, Rustic Brown & Black

Some collectors want their records tucked away, others prefer to see the sleeves and browse while choosing what to play. This Dunatou crate keeps albums upright and visible, making it easy to keep a listening area organized.

Its open grid sides and vintage-inspired Rustic Brown and black finish give the collection a display-ready place beside a turntable, sofa or bookshelf.

Engineered wood and metal construction, dual handles and capacity for up to 40 records make it a practical home for everyday listening favourites.

Tech summary

The crate measures 36 × 31 × 21.5 cm and weighs 2.2 kg. Its trapezoidal shape and open sides keep record spines accessible, so browsing does not mean searching through a closed box. The two handles make it easier to move the crate between rooms or reposition it near your listening setup.

The frame combines engineered wood with metal components and has a painted finish in Rustic Brown and black. Beyond vinyl, it can also organize books, magazines, photo albums, letters or stationery. Buyers often praise its appearance, storage capacity and sturdy feel. Assembly is commonly described as manageable, while some report that the small screws take extra effort to fasten.

Compatibility & requirements

Sized for standard 7", 8", 10" and 12" records, the crate holds up to 40 when they are arranged upright. Leave the records loosely placed rather than tightly packed to help avoid pressure on sleeves and covers. This makes it useful for a regularly played selection as well as an organized spot for a small-to-medium record collection.

Assembly is required. The package includes an assembly kit and user manual, for best alignment, start by finger-tightening the connections, then fully tighten them once the crate is assembled. A practical setup is to place it near the turntable and keep frequently played albums at the front, where the open sides make them easier to spot.

Who it’s for

It’s a good fit if you want a dedicated record holder that keeps LPs upright without hiding their spines. The capacity suits listeners building a compact, accessible selection, while the dual handles are useful when the crate needs to move from a shelf to a listening spot. Its warm wood-look finish and black metal details also suit a room where storage is meant to remain in view, rather than being tucked into a cabinet.

For a different kind of everyday organization, the same crate can hold books, magazines or stationery. Buyers also appreciate the finished look as well as its record-storage function, making it a useful choice for a living room, bedroom or home office.
