## Description

Drainage-free cooling helps keep a bedroom comfortable without making routine water removal part of the setup. The DREO AC318S is a portable air conditioner rated at 8,000 BTU ASHRAE, with a fan and three operating modes for cooling, air circulation or dehumidifying a room.

Set your preferred temperature from 61°F to 86°F using the app, voice control, remote or touch controls. At its lowest setting, the unit is rated at 45 dB, making it suited to bedrooms and work areas where a quieter cooling option is welcome.

## Product specs
- Type: Portable air conditioner
- Cooling capacity: 8,000 BTU ASHRAE
- Modes: Cool, dry/dehumidify and fan
- Noise level: 45 dB at the lowest setting
- Controls: DREO app, voice, remote and touch
- Dimensions: 38.5D x 35.5W x 63H centimetres
- Weight: 24.95 kg
- Included components: Window mount kit, exhaust hose and remote control

The three modes make the AC318S useful for more than cooling alone: choose fan mode for air circulation or dry mode for dehumidifying. The mesh filter helps manage dust as air moves through the unit. Its built-in sensors and pump evaporate excess water automatically, supporting drainage-free operation in environments with up to 90% humidity.

## Everyday compatibility
Designed for indoor use, the unit is listed for rooms up to 100 square feet, including bedrooms and home offices. Smooth caster wheels make it easier to move between rooms when your cooling needs change. For operation, fit the window panels and exhaust hose to a horizontal- or vertical-sliding window, the panels are designed for openings from 17 to 53 inches. This makes it a practical alternative to a permanently installed air conditioner when you want portable cooling for a suitable room.

Smart controls add flexibility to everyday routines. Use the DREO app to monitor temperature and humidity or customize the sleep curve, or control the unit by voice with Siri, [amazon](https://www.amazon.ca/-/dp/B0DYDRXDG3?tag=caofetop0e-20) Alexa or Google Home. Prefer a direct option? Use the remote or the touch controls on the unit. Which control fits the moment—a scheduled adjustment from your phone or a quick change from across the room?

## Usage tips
Place the AC318S in the room you want to cool, then set up the window mount and exhaust hose for the sliding window. Select cool, dry or fan mode according to the task, and use the adjustable temperature range to tailor the setting. For nighttime use, the lowest fan setting is rated at 45 dB, app and remote controls also let you make adjustments without operating the touch panel. The window kit, exhaust hose and remote are included, so the key setup pieces are supplied with the unit.

## Is it worth it?
The AC318S brings portable cooling, dehumidifying and fan operation together with app, voice, remote and touch control. That combination is useful when you want to move an air conditioner between rooms, choose a mode for changing conditions and manage settings from nearby or through a smart-home assistant. For a bedroom or home office with a compatible sliding window, its 8,000 BTU ASHRAE cooling capacity and drainage-free system offer a convenient way to add room-focused climate control.
