Drapenova Blackout Curtains, Linen-Blend Grommet Panels, 52W x 102L

For a bedroom where early daylight interrupts daytime rest, these Drapenova blackout curtains pair a 100% blackout liner with a textured linen-blend face. The two panels use grommet tops for a straightforward hanging setup. Their insulating construction also helps soften outside noise and manage heat around the window. The natural Birch colour brings a relaxed finish to bedrooms, nurseries and shared living spaces.

Fit and sizing

Each set is sized 52W x 102L inches and contains two panels, making it suited to taller windows and doors where added length is useful. The grommet top slides onto a curtain rod, each panel has eight bronze grommets with a 1.6-inch inner diameter, designed to fit most standard rods. Check that the rod fits through the grommets before hanging. For a fuller, gathered appearance, the product guidance recommends curtain coverage around two to three times the rod width. The panels are designed for window use, including bedrooms, dining rooms, home offices, living rooms and nurseries.

What stands out

A white blackout liner sits behind the face fabric, which is made from 30% linen and 70% polyester. The lined construction is designed to block sunlight and UV rays for a darker room, a practical feature for shift workers sleeping during the day, a nursery nap space or a home theatre. Unlike a sheer or lightly filtering window treatment, these panels are intended for privacy and room darkening.

The front fabric has a slub linen weave with visible flecks and a subtle crosshatch texture. That gives the solid Birch colour more visual depth while keeping the look easy to coordinate with modern, farmhouse, rustic or boho-inspired decor. Thermal insulation and noise reduction are also part of the design, helping create a more comfortable-feeling setting around the window. Use them in a bedroom for daytime sleep, or in a living room to bring together privacy, light control and a softly textured finish.

Practical questions

Are these curtains intended to make a room darker? Yes. They have a 100% blackout white liner and are designed to block sunlight and UV rays, making them suitable for bedrooms, nurseries and other spaces where room darkening is wanted.

How do the panels hang? The bronze grommets slide onto a curtain rod. Each panel has eight grommets with a 1.6-inch inner diameter, so the rod needs to fit through those openings.

How should I care for the curtains? Machine wash them in cold water and tumble dry on low. Do not use bleach. If ironing is needed, use a cool setting on the front side only to protect the blackout layer.

Final verdict

Choose these Drapenova panels when light control is the priority but the window treatment should still contribute a natural, textured look. The blackout liner, grommet hanging and 102-inch length make them a practical fit for bedrooms, nurseries and other tall-window spaces where privacy and a darker room are useful.
