DocSafe DS0105 Fireproof File Organizer, Hard Shell, 13 Pockets and Combination Lock

Choosing document storage often comes down to whether you want papers neatly sorted or gathered in one portable place. The DocSafe DS0105 combines a hard shell with an accordion file and built-in combination lock. Need a convenient way to keep important records together at home or on the go? Its labelled pockets and carry handles make that easier.

Key features

The hard-shell organizer is made with silicone-coated, fireproof heat-insulated cotton material and a hard-shell exterior. The manufacturer states that the material passed the UL94-V0/5VA flame-retardant test. This adds a layer of protection for important papers, while the organizer’s purpose-built compartments help keep documents collected and accessible. As with any fireproof storage, keep exposure to fire to a minimum.

Inside, 13 accordion pockets with labels separate papers by category, while the main pocket accommodates letter- and legal-size files and is also designed for a laptop. A zippered pocket, card slots, passport holders, pen holders and mesh pockets provide places for smaller essentials. Buyers often appreciate having key documents organized in one case, feedback on zipper quality is mixed, so the double metal zipper is worth handling with care during everyday use.

Quick sizing guide

The organizer measures 39.5 × 29.2 × 7.6 cm and has a stated capacity of 15 litres. Its thickness can expand to 4 inches, according to the product details. The accordion pockets are intended for letter- and A4-size papers, and the main pocket is described as suitable for letter- and legal-size paperwork. For a travel or home-office setup, the side and top handles make it easier to carry the collection as one case rather than sorting through separate folders.

Best use cases

Use the labelled sections to group records such as certificates, financial paperwork and passports, then keep cards, pens and smaller items in their dedicated slots. At home, it can serve as a central place for documents you may need to gather quickly. For business travel or moving between work locations, the portable format brings paperwork and selected valuables together in a single organizer. Compared with a fixed storage approach, this case is designed for people who want their files sorted and easy to carry.
