## Description

Some aquarium setups need gentle filtration for shrimp, bettas or fry, others prioritize stronger surface movement. This Digoos electric sponge filter offers adjustable flow options to suit either approach, with dual sponges and bio media supporting mechanical and biological filtration in one submersible unit.

Its built-in pump works without a separate external air pump. Place the filter in the aquarium, secure it with the suction cups and plug it into AC power for continuous filtration.

## Getting the most from it

Choose the Venturi nozzle for gentle circulation or the rain bar when you want more surface agitation. That choice helps tailor water movement to the tank’s inhabitants and setup, whether you’re caring for shrimp, bettas, fry, nano fish or snails. The filter is designed for freshwater and saltwater aquariums, giving you flexibility across these environments.

In a bedroom, office or living room, the submersible pump and quiet motor help keep equipment noise down. For everyday use, position and secure the filter in the aquarium, then connect it to AC power. Its plug-and-play design keeps the setup straightforward, without building filtration around an external air pump.

## What stands out

Mechanical filtration through the sponges helps capture debris, while the bio media provides a surface for beneficial bacteria colonies to establish. Together, these filtration stages support aquarium water care through both debris removal and biological filtration. The dual-sponges design is also practical for routine upkeep: the sponges detach for cleaning and can be reused, and spare sponges are provided to extend service life and reduce maintenance costs.

Compared with an arrangement that relies on a separate air pump, this filter brings the pump into the submersible unit. The adjustable outlet gives you two ways to direct water movement instead of committing to a single flow style. That makes it a useful choice when gentle circulation matters, but you also want the option of increased surface agitation.

## Should you buy it?

It suits you if you want a compact internal filter with its own pump and adjustable water output, particularly for an aquarium with shrimp, bettas, fry, nano fish or snails. The quiet motor is a practical fit for shared spaces such as bedrooms and offices, while the dual filtration approach supports debris capture and beneficial bacteria growth. For an aquarium routine that calls for simple installation, reusable sponges and a choice between gentle circulation and stronger surface movement, this Digoos filter brings those features together in one unit.
