Diaper Genie Diaper Pail System Refills, 6-Pack, Blue, Unscented

Some households want a dedicated way to manage used diapers between changes, others prioritize a refill system designed to work with a specific pail. These unscented Diaper Genie refills use five-layer odour-barrier technology to help contain smells and germs. The six-pack gives you refills on hand for ongoing nursery use.

At a glance

Made for use with the Diaper Genie Elite Diaper Pail or Essentials Diaper Pail, these blue plastic refills are intended for baby waste. Their five-layer odour-barrier technology helps keep odours and germs contained inside the pail, while the unscented format suits households that prefer disposal products without added fragrance. The refill is also described as leak-proof, an added practical feature when handling everyday diaper changes.

This is a system-specific choice rather than a general-purpose waste bag: the refill is designed to work with the named Diaper Genie pails. It is not compatible with the Diaper Genie Signature Pail, so match the refill to the pail in your nursery before setting it up. The six-pack is useful for keeping replacements available, helping you continue using the same disposal routine as each refill is used.

Tips for day-to-day use

Keep the red indicator line in view as you use the refill. It signals when the refill is almost empty, giving you a practical cue to prepare a replacement before the liner runs out. The unscented design and odour barrier support regular use in a nursery, where keeping diaper disposal contained is part of the daily changing routine.

When it is time to replace a refill, have the new one ready and follow the setup steps before returning to normal use. This makes the changeover straightforward and helps maintain the pail’s contained disposal system. Store the remaining refills where they are easy to reach when a replacement is needed.

How to use it

To start, pull the plastic tab on the refill and remove the plastic seal. Draw the film up and out through the larger opening, then feed it through the centre hole and pull it down to approximately the full length of the pail. Tie a knot at the bottom before placing the refill into service. These steps prepare the liner to collect used diapers within the pail.

Use the refill with either the Diaper Genie Elite or Essentials Diaper Pail. The specific pail matters: this refill is not compatible with the Signature Pail. Once installed, use the red indicator line to tell when the refill is nearly empty and ready to be changed. The pail-and-refill setup is suited to a changing area where quick, familiar disposal is part of caring for a baby.

When it makes sense

Choose this six-pack if your nursery uses a compatible Diaper Genie Elite or Essentials pail and you want unscented refills with odour-barrier technology. The five layers are designed to help contain smells and germs, while the indicator line makes it easier to keep track of when a refill is nearing its end. It’s a good fit if you value a dedicated diaper-disposal system and want replacement refills ready for routine use.
