## Description

A 2.6 L capacity keeps water available between refills, while the viewing window makes the level easy to check. The Dctrod S20 circulates water through a multi-stage filter to help keep it fresh for indoor pets. Its stainless steel body is simple to clean, and the low-vibration pump is designed for quiet operation.

## What stands out

The fountain combines a stainless steel drinking surface with filtration for households that want more than a still bowl of water. Activated carbon helps reduce unwanted taste and odour, ion exchange resin softens tap water, and non-woven fabric captures hair and other impurities. A pump sponge catches fine particles as water circulates. Together, these stages support a practical daily drinking station for cats and small animals.

The water-level window lets you see when a refill is due without lifting the reservoir. That’s useful during a busy day or when checking the fountain as part of a regular pet-care routine. Its hemispherical buffer design shortens the distance water falls to help reduce splashing, while the pump operates at a stated noise level of ≤25 dB. The 2.6 L capacity offers a larger reservoir than a small water bowl, with less frequent top-ups as part of everyday use.

## The essentials

Made from SUS 304 stainless steel, the Dctrod S20 is designed for strength and rust resistance, and the material is straightforward to clean. Its silver finish and compact footprint suit an indoor feeding area, kitchen corner or other pet-friendly spot. The listed dimensions are 20.6L x 20.6W x 11.8H centimetres, with an item weight of 0.72 kg.

This is an indoor fountain for cats and dogs, as well as small animals. It suits pet owners who want circulating, filtered water and a visible water level in one unit. Compared with a stationary bowl, a fountain offers moving water through a filtration system, a basic bowl remains a simpler approach for owners who prefer not to use a fountain. For a practical setup, place it in an indoor area where your pet can reach it comfortably and where you can check the water level during routine care.

## Maintenance

The product information recommends cleaning the fountain every two weeks and replacing the filter every two weeks to keep water fresh. The filtration setup uses one filter and one pump sponge. Regular cleaning and timely filter changes help keep the water path and drinking area ready for daily use. Stainless steel also makes the drinking surface easy to clean as part of that routine.

## Is it worth it?

For pet owners looking to move beyond a still bowl, this fountain brings together a 2.6 L reservoir, a visible water-level window, multi-stage filtration and quiet pump operation. It is a good fit if you want an indoor water station that is easy to monitor and has a clear maintenance schedule. Buyers often highlight quiet operation, ease of cleaning and assembly, and their pets’ interest in the fountain, feedback on reliability and value is mixed. The combination of circulating water and a stainless steel body makes the S20 a practical choice for a regular indoor hydration spot.
