CreaCity GR053K Garage Door Keypad with 4-Digit PIN and Temporary Access

For households that need a way to enter the garage without carrying a key, the CreaCity GR053K provides access through a personal four-digit PIN. Its backlit buttons help make code entry easier in low light, while a flip-up cover protects the keypad when it is not in use. Choose it for a compatible Chamberlain, LiftMaster or Craftsman opener.

Usage tips

Before setting it up, check that your opener uses one of the supported Learn button systems: yellow, purple, red, orange or green, as listed in the compatibility chart. This keypad is intended only for compatible Chamberlain, LiftMaster and Craftsman systems. Once paired, enter your personal PIN to operate the garage door instead of relying on a key.

For everyday use, the illuminated buttons are useful when arriving after dark, and the cover flips open for access when you need it. You can also set a temporary PIN for a visitor or delivery. That code is limited by a preset number of uses rather than a time schedule, so it suits one-off access where you want to control how many times the code works. Setting the use limit follows the included instructions, testing the temporary PIN counts as one use.

Why it makes sense

A keypad offers a different approach from carrying a key or keeping a separate remote close at hand: enter a PIN at the garage door when you arrive. The four-digit personal code keeps access simple, and rolling code technology generates a new security code each time the PIN is entered. The flip-up cover adds a practical layer of protection between uses, while backlighting supports entry in dim conditions.

The temporary PIN function is useful when someone needs access while you are away, such as a visitor or a delivery. Set the permitted number of uses to match the visit, then share the code rather than your personal PIN. The keypad is also described as capable of controlling up to three garage doors, offering a single access point for that setup.

Buyer feedback highlights straightforward programming and clear instructions, while experiences with connectivity and reliability are mixed. Checking opener compatibility against the listed Learn button system is an important first step when choosing this keypad.

Before you decide

Which garage door openers is it compatible with? It is compatible only with Chamberlain, LiftMaster and Craftsman openers using the yellow, purple, red, orange or green Learn button systems listed in the compatibility chart. Match your opener to that chart before installation.

How does the temporary PIN work? Set a PIN with a preset number of permitted uses. It is based on use count, not a time schedule, and testing the temporary PIN uses one of its permitted entries.

Can it operate more than one garage door? The product is described as able to control up to three doors. This makes it suitable for a compatible setup where a single keypad is intended to operate multiple doors.

Should you buy it?

This keypad suits people who want PIN-based garage access, backlit entry and a way to grant visitors or delivery personnel limited-use access. Its strongest fit is a compatible Chamberlain, LiftMaster or Craftsman opener: confirm the Learn button system, then use the personal and temporary PIN options to make everyday entry more convenient.
