## Description

Some cats benefit from having a dedicated surface for scratching, while pet owners may want a mat that also helps protect furniture and carpets. The Conlun JMD-05 offers a natural sisal surface for indoor cats to scratch. Its medium format suits everyday use around the home. A latex backing helps reduce slipping on the floor.

## Practical tips
Place the mat on the floor in an area where your cat can reach it easily. The sisal gives cats a dedicated place to satisfy their scratching instinct, while the backing is designed to help the mat stay put during use. This makes it a practical surface to offer near the spots your cat tends to scratch, including areas around furniture or carpet.

The mat is also described for use as a play mat, litter mat, scratching bed or corner scratcher. Its portable design makes it easy to move between suitable indoor spaces as your cat’s routine changes. Choose a placement that leaves enough room for your cat to approach and scratch comfortably.

For routine care, vacuum away dust or wipe the surface with a cloth, and keep the mat dry. These simple steps help keep the scratching area tidy without the scattered debris associated with some cardboard scratchers. The natural sisal material is described as non-toxic and not treated with harsh chemicals.

Buyer feedback often highlights cats’ interest in the mat, along with positive comments about its appearance, functionality and durability. Opinions are mixed on adhesion and value, so feedback on how securely it stays in place varies. The latex backing is intended to help reduce movement when the mat is used on the floor.

## Box contents
The package includes one Cat Scratcher Mat. It provides a ready-made sisal surface for a cat’s scratching routine, without requiring a multi-level setup or a separate frame.

## Questions before you buy
What is the scratching surface made from? It is made from natural sisal, a fibrous material intended for cats to scratch.

How should the mat be cleaned? Vacuum it to remove dust or wipe it with a cloth. Keep it dry as part of regular care.

Can it be used for activities other than scratching? The mat is also described for indoor play, as a litter mat or as a resting surface. Its portable format makes it easy to reposition for these uses.

## Buying verdict
The Conlun JMD-05 is suited to cat owners looking for a portable, single-level scratching surface made from natural sisal. Its 40 x 60 cm format, floor-oriented backing and straightforward care make it a practical fit for adding a dedicated scratching spot to an indoor cat’s environment.
