## Description

## Usage tips

If you need a vanity light that can be aimed to suit your mirror and room, the CCYCOL 8036WL-30GD offers a practical alternative to a fixed-direction bar. Its 30-inch linear design sits above a mirror, while the rotatable light body lets you direct the illumination where it is most useful. The brushed gold finish and white acrylic shade bring a modern look to the bathroom. It can also be used in other indoor spaces, including bedrooms, powder rooms, entryways and living rooms.

This fixture is hardwired for wall mounting and can be installed horizontally or vertically. Plan its position in relation to the mirror before connecting the reserved wires, then rotate the light body to set the direction. The listing identifies compatibility with US junction box standards and specifies 120 volts, so check that the existing electrical setup suits those requirements. Its enclosed shade is described as waterproof and anti-fog, making it suited to bathroom use.

## Where it shines

Above a bathroom mirror, the long profile gives the vanity area a clear, contemporary focal point, and the warm-white 3500K light brings illumination to everyday routines such as getting ready. The rotatable body is especially useful when you want to adjust the direction after positioning the fixture, a fixed bar offers less flexibility in how its light is aimed. Its brushed gold finish adds a defined accent without relying on a bulky shade, while the enclosed acrylic cover keeps the light source behind a smooth surface.

The fixture’s indoor use and over-mirror application also suit a powder room or a bedroom vanity. Customer comments often praise its elegant appearance, straightforward wiring and adjustable direction. Feedback on brightness and operation is mixed, and some buyers raise concerns about durability, so these opinions are best treated as individual experiences rather than a promise of performance. The listed dimming feature offers a way to adjust the light for different routines.

## What to clarify

**Can the light be rotated after installation?** The light body is designed to rotate through 360 degrees, allowing you to redirect its angle to suit the installation and the area you want to illuminate.

**Where can this vanity light be installed?** It is intended for indoor wall mounting, with bathroom and over-mirror use specifically listed. Bedrooms, entryways and living rooms are also named as suitable spaces. Horizontal and vertical installation are both described.

**What kind of electrical connection does it use?** This is a hardwired fixture, listed for 120 volts and US junction box standards. It connects to reserved wires, so confirm the installation point matches those requirements before fitting it.

## Is it worth it?

For a bathroom or vanity area that calls for a long, modern light with an adjustable direction, the 8036WL-30GD combines a 30-inch profile, warm 3500K LED output and brushed gold styling. Its rotatable body adds useful aiming flexibility, while the enclosed shade and indoor wall-mount design make it a considered fit above a mirror. Choose it when you want the clean look of a linear vanity fixture with more control over where the light points.
