CALPOSE FF12 Propane Hose with Fuel Filter, 12 ft, QCC1/Type 1
Product description
A heater setup that needs a longer connection benefits from a hose that brings the filter along with it. The CALPOSE FF12 combines both in one assembly for compatible Mr. Heater Buddy heaters.
Its 12 ft hose connects to 20–45 lb propane tanks through a QCC1/Type 1 adapter, helping place the tank farther from the heater. What makes this setup simpler? The filter is fixed to the hose, so the two components work together as one accessory.
Choose it for a compatible Buddy heater when you want a tank connection with an integrated fuel filter rather than assembling those pieces separately.
Benefits
The fixed fuel filter is designed to purify propane, while the integrated hose provides the connection to a larger 20–45 lb tank. Keeping the filter attached also reduces the possibility of propane leaks, according to the product description. The extended hose gives you more distance between the heater and tank, which can make positioning the setup more practical for your space.
The hose uses a three-layer construction: an outer rubber layer, galvanized steel support and an inner PVC layer. This construction is intended to help the hose resist damage during use. Buyers have highlighted compatibility with Big Buddy heaters and a good fit, feedback about installation is mixed, so following the heater and connection instructions remains important.
Quick overview
This is a propane hose and fuel-filter accessory for Mr. Heater Portable Buddy, Big Buddy and Hunting Buddy heaters. It connects to 20–45 lb propane tanks using a QCC1/Type 1 adapter. The hose measures 12 ft, and the filter is attached as part of a one-piece assembly. These details make it useful when a compatible heater is being supplied from a larger tank and the tank needs to sit farther away.
For a straightforward replacement hose, a basic hose-only option may suit a different setup. The FF12 brings the hose and filter together, making it a considered choice when both functions are wanted in one accessory. Match the heater model and tank connection to the listed compatibility before setting up.
Who it’s for
The CALPOSE FF12 is intended for owners of Mr. Heater Portable Buddy, Big Buddy or Hunting Buddy heaters who want to connect a 20–45 lb propane tank. It may be especially practical when the tank’s position calls for extra hose length, or when adding a fuel filter to the connection is part of the setup. Buyers also describe the fit and compatibility positively, while installation experiences vary.
What to clarify
Which heaters is the FF12 designed for? It is designed for Mr. Heater Portable Buddy, Big Buddy and Hunting Buddy heaters. Confirm that your heater is one of these models before connecting the hose.
What size propane tank can it connect to? The hose is specified for 20–45 lb propane tanks and uses a QCC1/Type 1 adapter connection.
What does the integrated filter do? The filter is fixed to the hose and is designed to purify propane. Combining it with the hose also reduces the possibility of leaks compared with a setup using separate connected pieces, as described for this product.
Is it worth it?
If you have a compatible Buddy heater and want to run it from a 20–45 lb tank, the FF12 brings together the hose, QCC1/Type 1 connection and fuel filter in one assembly. Its 12 ft length helps position the tank farther from the heater, making this a practical accessory for that specific propane setup.
