CALCHELE Black Double Curtain Rod, 1-Inch Stainless Steel, Adjustable Wall-Mounted Set
Product description
Choosing a curtain rod is about more than covering a window: some spaces call for a simple single layer, while others benefit from sheer and blackout curtains on separate rods. This CALCHELE double rod is designed for that layered setup.
Its black finish and wall-mounted brackets suit bedrooms, living rooms, dining rooms and kitchens. The stainless steel rods have a 1-inch diameter and are designed to support heavier curtains.
The length is adjusted by adding rod sections rather than retracting the assembled rod. Want to hang sheer and blackout curtains together? The two-rod design gives each layer its own place.
Quick sizing guide
Measure the window span you want to cover and compare it with the available rod length options. This rod is non-retractable: you adjust its length by adding sections, so choose the configuration that fits your planned installation. It mounts to the wall, and the package includes brackets, screws, drywall anchors and instructions for assembly and installation.
The rod is suitable for grommet, back-tab, rod-pocket and tab-top curtains. Before choosing a length, consider how the two curtain layers will sit at the window and how much coverage you want on either side. For a room where one curtain layer is all you need, a single rod serves a simpler purpose, this double set is made for combining two layers in one window treatment.
What you’ll notice day to day
Separate rods make it possible to arrange sheer and blackout curtains together, giving you two layers to use as part of your room’s window treatment. The black finish provides a defined look against the wall, while the 1-inch rod diameter and stated capacity of up to 50 pounds make this set suitable for heavier curtain panels. Its indoor residential use suits a range of rooms and decorating styles.
Buyers commonly describe installation as straightforward, including the screw-in wall mounting and placing the rods on the brackets. Feedback on the included hardware is mixed, and some buyers say the rod projects farther from the wall than they expected. Keep the bracket placement and curtain clearance in mind as you plan where the set will sit.
For a practical bedroom setup, hang sheer curtains on one rod and blackout curtains on the other. You can arrange the layers as part of the same window treatment, rather than fitting two separate single-rod sets. The included instructions and mounting hardware support the wall-mounted installation.
