## Description

When an acrylic set needs shortening or reshaping, these BTYMS 80/80 grit nail files give you a coarse surface for working on the length, side walls and free edge. The rectangular boards are double-sided, so both filing faces are ready for your manicure or pedicure routine.

The 25-count set suits a home nail-art station as well as salon use. Keep several files on hand for shaping acrylics, extensions or other artificial nail applications.

If your priority is shaping artificial nails, the coarse 80/80 grit is designed for that task, a finer-grit file is the better match for smoothing and refining. This set focuses on substantial filing rather than fine finishing.

## Technical details
- Type: Double-sided emery boards
- Grit: 80/80, coarse
- Quantity: 25 nail files
- Colour: Blue
- Material: Ethylene Vinyl Acetate (EVA)
- Dimensions: 17.8 L × 2.5 W centimetres

## Compatibility
Use these files to shape acrylic, poly gel, hard gel and dip powder nails, and to work on artificial nail tips. They can also be used for gel removal and for manicure or pedicure grooming. The coarse grit is intended for reducing length and shaping the sides and free edge, making it useful when preparing an extension or refining its outline.

For a practical filing routine, begin with dry nails that have been trimmed close to the desired length. Hold the file flat and work from one side towards the centre, then shape the other side. Filing in one direction is the recommended approach for a neater edge. Use controlled strokes around the nail rather than pressing the board against the surrounding skin.

## Best use cases
These files are well suited to shortening and shaping acrylics and other artificial nails at home, or keeping a supply available for salon manicures and pedicures. For example, when an extension has grown out or its free edge needs reshaping, the coarse grit helps remove material and define the outline. They can also be used before a nail treatment or extension as part of the preparation routine.

The boards are described as reusable, easy to clean and water resistant, which makes them practical for repeated nail-care sessions. Their rectangular shape offers a straightforward surface to hold while filing, and having 25 in the set makes it convenient to keep files within reach for different appointments or DIY nail-art projects. For natural nails, use a light touch and focus on shaping the edge, for substantial reduction of artificial length, the coarse grit is the more suitable part of the set’s intended use.

## Should you buy it?
Choose this BTYMS set if your routine centres on shaping acrylics, extensions or other artificial nails and you want a supply of coarse, double-sided boards for regular manicure or pedicure work. The 80/80 grit, reusable format and 25-count quantity make it a practical fit for home nail art and salon tasks that call for shortening length and shaping the free edge.
