## Description

For typing at a desk, gaming or settling in for the night, the BraceUP B405 gives the left wrist firm support in a side-specific S/M design. Its aluminium splint helps stabilize the wrist, while three adjustable hook-and-loop straps let you set the fit around your hand and wrist.

The brace is intended for adult use and supports the hand and wrist during everyday activities associated with carpal tunnel discomfort, tendonitis or arthritis. Its open-finger design keeps finger movement available while the wrist is supported, making it practical for tasks that call for hand use.

## Quick overview

The B405 combines an aluminium wrist splint with two built-in plastic splints for added structure. A contoured design and cushioned lining are intended to make the brace comfortable to wear, and mesh material supports airflow around the hand. The three adjustable straps secure the brace with hook-and-loop closures, so the fit can be adjusted rather than relying on a fixed sleeve. This left-hand version is sized S/M, the listed wrist circumference range for S/M is 5.5–7.5 in (14–19 cm). Measure around the wrist and use the sizing chart to choose the appropriate fit.

Buyers often highlight the wrist support and find the brace straightforward to put on and adjust. Feedback on comfort and durability is mixed, including comments about the fabric and straps, so the most consistent appeal is its adjustable support and stabilizing design.

## Usage tips

Wear the brace on the left hand and adjust the straps to hold the wrist securely without making the fit uncomfortable. The finger opening allows movement for routine tasks such as typing or handling a game controller, while the splint provides support at the wrist. It can also be used during sleep, as indicated for this model. If you are choosing between a soft sleeve and a more structured brace, the B405’s aluminium splint and integrated plastic supports make it the more stabilizing style.

For washing, remove the aluminium splint first, hand wash with mild soap and air dry. The brace is also described as washable with the splint inserted when handled carefully, but removing it before washing is the straightforward care option.

## Best use cases

This brace suits adults looking for left-wrist support during daily routines, including computer work, gaming and rest. Its adjustable closures make it possible to secure the support for different activities, while the open fingers keep the hand available for tasks that still require finger movement. The S/M sizing makes wrist measurement an important part of selecting this version, it is designed for the left hand rather than as a one-size brace for either side.

For a desk session, for example, the splint supports the wrist while the fingers remain free to use a keyboard. The same combination of wrist stabilization and adjustable straps can be useful when wearing support during sleep or other everyday activities. The brace is intended to provide support, not to guarantee relief from a medical condition.

## Buying verdict

Choose the BraceUP B405 if you want a left-hand wrist brace with a firm splint, adjustable fastening and an open-finger design. Its S/M fit, aluminium support and three straps make it a practical option for adults seeking structured wrist support for typing, gaming, sleep or day-to-day use. Measure your wrist and select the left-hand version to match the fit and side you need.
